is not worthy !! Well i am sure most of the people paying 1000$ for just processor, with that price this unit doesnt have dedicated gpu, which is absurd!! So whats the benefits with higher cpu if you dont have dedicated gpu. And guys dont trust asus OLED, Asus had common issue for their OLED panel, its look like FHD screen although they are saying this unit has 2.8K OLED panel. Overall this model shouldn't be more than 600 $ . If you are basic user then its fine.

First off, the display is beautiful. That's the main thing people are looking for, and it doesn't disappoint. The screen is pretty glossy, so if you're in a brightly lit room you'll see a lot of reflection, but the quality of the OLED more than makes up for that. Secondly, it is very powerful. The 13700H is a superb CPU. And the Iris XE graphics greatly exceeded my expectations. It handily beat the ryzen 7730u APU in game benchmarks. Getting nearly twice as many frames in most games. Obviously it's not dedicated-GPU level performance, but for an iGPU I was impressed. Servicing it was easy. Was able to swap out a larger SSD easily, however the RAM is soldered, so not upgradeable. on to the bad It is thicker and heavier than I would have liked. I guess this is to be expected with a 45W TDP on the CPU - it needs cooling. It feels pretty heavy though. Will be best suited to living on a desk. It's certainly no thin-and-light. The biggest downside though is the idle battery drain. It is horrendous. I close the laptop with 60% battery, and when I open it the next day it is completely dead. I don't know if this is a hardware issue, or something to do with Windows 11 but it is completely unacceptable. It took me 2.5 weeks to realize how bad this is, and now I'm outside the return window and stuck with this thing.

Love this laptop! I had an Asus Zenbook previously that cost me about $700 and lasted 6 years, so pretty good for the money. I expect this to last as long also. It was easy to set up and use, and an unexpected bonus is that there's a number pad on the touchpad which is VERY convenient! The original price was $999 but it ultimately went on sale for $699, so wait for the deal!

Works perfectly. Needed to get a quick computer for the Ranch and this exceeds expectations.

No one sells squat in terms of cases or sleeves for a 14.5 inch laptop. Sleeves you can get away with in a bigger size, but if you want a hardshell, GO WITH A MORE COMMON SIZE i have looked on amazon, best buy, straight up google, im convinced they do not sell cases in 14.5. however looking past that, its great for what it does, it has a dual home screen feature, and a light up number touchpad feature.

Have heard great things about Asus laptops and had no reason to really doubt since I use a lot of Asus hardware in my computer builds, but unfortunately, as it seems with a lot of folks, the left speaker has gone out (sounds like it is blown or the wires/connections are screwy. very static filled) after only a year and half or so of very light use and utmost care. (basically, 95% of the time is stilling on a desk connected to a hub on the right side of the computer) Everything else has been mostly great, but the speaker is very disappointing since the "product is tested to military standards."

Obligatory four stars for the soldered RAM. If you're someone like me who requires red-shifted screens to not get headaches/migraines, be warned that OLED screens handle red-shifting oddly - the screen appears a dirty brightish yellow rather than a pleasant warm yellow. I ended up using a third-party color adjustor to get the shades to match the usual pleasantness offered on a traditional LCD screen. (I also have a VA monitor, which notably does warm tones even better than LCD.)
