||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Think twice before buying this beautiful piece of hardware, because on the inside it runs arm64 which means some of your main software programs won't work very well - if at all. For example - dropbox (despite what you might hear) does not sync properly with arm64. RevoUninstaller does not work with arm64 either - even though it appears to load. Same with Ricoh/Fujitsu scanner programs. They don't work well with arm64. This was super disappointing to discover because all the reviews I've read and watched lauded the wonderful design of this otherwise great laptop. But the "core" issue is the cpu chip which is arm64 - and alot of software is currently incompatible with it. If this just had an i5 intel chip I would give it 10 stars. But as it stands now, it only rates a lowly 2.

We do understand your concern about x86/x64 programs may not run with an ARM64 processor. Although there can be an issues running some programs on ARM64 architecture due to differences in instruction sets between ARM and x86, or x64 architectures, these programs will run properly with Windows 11 since the OS includes an emulator to run x86/x64 software. Would be helpful with more explanation of apps that are free/available vs trying to purchase if not needed and setting up multiple apps that essentially do the same thing.
