Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up at a local store and the chasis had black marks all over the edges I could not get out. The store suspected I caused the dmaage, which I did not appreciate, but eventually offered a replacement. The replacement has similar damage. The black marks are very obvious on the beige laptop. Not happy a $800 is not in prestine condition or that I have to do another return.

The keyboard and touchpad respond very well. For the price, I think it is amazing. However, it does not have a touch screen if that is important to you.

The display is nice, performance is decent for everyday tasks, and it feels like it was built for travel and productivity. That said, after using it for a while, it just didn’t feel like the right fit for my needs. The performance and overall feel wasn’t as premium as I expected and I kept feeling like I was compromising on the overall “daily driver” experience. I also found myself wanting something that better fits my long-term ecosystem and workflow. It’s not a bad laptop at all it just wasn’t the right one for me, so I decided to return it.

Asus keeps sending me emails asking me to complete my product registration, but the link provided goes to a Page not found error.
