I love this ultraportable laptop. I plan on traveling quite a bit the upcoming year and I was looking for something lightweight. Weighing in at less than 2.5 lbs, the Asus Zenbook comes stacked with a beautiful screen and a premium build. Battery life thus far has been excellent. The speakers sound great and the performance is zippy and perfectly adequate for my needs. The Asus Zenbook is a premium option.

The most important thing to glean from the reviews of the A14 is that you should set your expectations properly. This is an incredible "personal computer". Depending on what you do for work this is also could be a perfect "work computer". This is not a desktop replacement, this is not something for intense workloads, and probably barely passable to do any intense or professional coding if you sacrifice battery life.
This is the laptop you grab when you sit down with your morning coffee. This is the laptop you grab when you remember to pay that bill. This is the laptop you take to class to take notes and doom scroll your favorite sites. This is the laptop you grab on the way out to an offsite meeting. I would venture to say for all of those use cases you're NOT reaching for the charger. Did I mention thing this regularly goes on sale for $599? I didn't even mention the epic screen.
This laptops really shines after you've been using it a few weeks. The battery life is so good and I rarely have "charge anxiety" when using it. I was purposely using it until 6-8% battery left during my return period to find that "see this thing sucks" point but it never came. I can go over an hour only losing a 1-2% once its in the most energy efficient mode and when I using it for "personal computing" I'm not frustrated with performance in said energy efficient modes.
I will mention that in my experience before I bought this that the ARM thing was annoying and maybe even daunting but we're well into the Windows+ARM era and the software compatibility is caught or catching up. I had to go to the canary version of Discord for ARM support but that's about it. I'm sure the main version will have it soon. If something you need isn't supported on natively on ARM then most likely this isn't the laptop you need in the first place.
If I had to gripe about anything it would be the apparent issue with the paint on this new fancy ceraluminum stuff and this terrible copilot+ key they've remove my right ctrl key for. I had to use powertoys to make right atl into right ctrl. Pretty much all the windows laptops have them now sadly. I've seen some other reports out of there of "smudge" or issues with the paint around the edge of the device. It definitely looks like a place that the paint didn't cover fully. There are a few on my machine that are small (less than 1/2") and not in a place I would ever look at unless it was on purpose. No amount of scrubbing or cleaning will remove them. It could be that it was a bad batch or something, otherwise the beige has really grown on me and the ceraluminium has excellent fingerprint resistance and feel. Did I even mention how light this thing is?
Final note!
I was a little miffed this went on sale for $200 cheaper than what I bought if for 1 day after my 15 days passed. I reached out to BB customer service and they said next time buy the Total Membership thing to get more time. I had to laugh at the notion of paying more next time just in case this costs less in the future. Anyways, that's not A14 thing but I would definitely look at this thing really hard when its down to $599. There's probably not a better deal out there.

Overall this is a great travel laptop. It’s light, great battery life, beautiful screen, and the materials used on the case are light and strong.
Asus makes great laptops; little bloatware and usually ready to go out of the box. The snapdragon processor has worked great so far with no compatibility issues so far
The only cons I found is the touchpad is a little non intuitive with the extra functions via gestures and it’s a bit light when using it to click (vs the amazing MacBook feel).

Very good battery life. Fast. Very light.
Does what I want it to.
The only setback for me are the speakers. They don't get very loud, but not a dealbreaker. Can always use external speakers if need be.
Battery life is around 12 hours if you are on the Net constantly, but aren't using internal speakers to listen to Youtube videos.
If you are not on WiFi, have Speakers off, on Airplane mode, you can get to 20 hours battery life.
Great OLED display. Non-touch.

This laptop has so many things going for it. It’s thin and light with a high quality OLED display and outstanding battery life. The snapdragon processor is super efficient, but runs on Windows ARM, which is still maturing. Some applications/games run poorly and crash, or won’t open at all. So look into Windows ARM before purchasing. Besides that, it is a fantastic product and highly recommended when on sale for $600-$700.

I have been using this laptop for over a month now. I have to say it is one of the best purchases I have made in quite awhlle. It is nice and light. Great battery life. The keyboard, trackpad, and display are all very good too. I am not much of a gamer so for me it checks all the boxes. It runs my technical programs fine too.

The A14 with Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite processor and 16GB RAM is light and bright, sipping slowly from the long-lasting battery. Changes fast. Keyboard backlight has 3 levels plus OFF. Soft keys tactile and great response. Multi-finger touchpad is precise. All great. Only wish I’d waited a couple weeks for the additional $100 price drop to $650! That’s life :-)

ASUS - Zenbook meets my needs

After extensive research, I selected the ASUS ZenBook A14 to replace my three-year-old HP Envy, which has been running hot. I use my computer primarily for research and writing. A long battery life was one of the needs. I also like a lightweight computer that is both durable and reliable. It has a great picture, and the sound is notably better than my older computer. I am very pleased with my computer at a price point of $799.

Very happy with the purchase of this laptop.
I read every review I could find on the internet before finally deciding to buy it when it went on sale.
I was originally somewhat concerned with buying a laptop with a 1080p screen and one with a Snapdragon processor, but after using this laptop for a couple weeks my concerns were unfounded. The OLED screen is beautiful and easy to use, and I've not ran across compatibility issues with the software I've needed to install.
Additionally, the weight of this laptop wasn't really a reason for wanting this laptop, however after traveling with it in my backpack, I do have an appreciation for it. It's hardly noticable once added!
The 16GB of soldered ram is enough for my needs, however the 512GB SSD included was a little small for my needs, so I changed it out with a 2TB Sandisk SSD, which took me less than 30 minutes to do.
Overall I am extremely happy with this laptop and have no buyer's remorse whatsoever!

I’ve had the Asus Zenbook A14 for a few weeks now and I’m blown away. It’s super light—feels like nothing in my bag—and the OLED screen is gorgeous for movies and work. The battery easily lasts me through two full days of use, which is insane. Performance is smooth for everyday tasks, though it’s not a gaming machine. Easily the best laptop I’ve owned for travel and productivity.

This is a great everyday use laptop. It has 3 main things going for it: the gorgeous OLED screen, the portability (it's incredibly light) and the outstanding battery life.
I've yet to run into any compatibility issues with the Snapdragon chipset (most common Windows apps now have native ARM64 versions, but even those that have to run in compatibility mode work fine).
I really love this laptop. It quickly became my go-to work & travel laptop.

This is an amazing laptop. The screen is gorgeous and the Snapdragon X Plus processor actual runs most things well. Everything felt snappy in windows. The battery life is also out of this world. 15+ hours of use with even more standby. I unfortunately returned it because I decided I wanted a higher resolution and touch screen.

This beautiful device might be the perfect fit for most people who want a feather weight, competent laptop with the energy to last multiple days on a single charge.
I love the look and feel of “Ceraluminum” (made by a mysterious process that bonds ceramic elements to aluminum), which has already proven resistant to fingerprints and scratches. Just the act of lifting the lid with the display with a single finger shows me the attention to quality that was paid by the manufacturer.
Speaking of the display, the FHD+ OLED has gorgeous colors and contrast! The resolution is fine for a 14 in screen. Nitpickers bemoan the 60Hz refresh rate, but I in comparison to another laptop I have with a refresh rate twice that, I really don’t see a difference in everyday use. Also, I very much appreciate being able to manage the screen brightness with a trackpad gesture as opposed to reaching for a function button.
The Snapdragon X Plus CPU drives the computer’s operations handily. I have yet to hear the fans turn on, even with the initial set-up and updating that is typical for Windows 11. Startup is quick, and the facial recognition works well. I love a cool and quiet computer.
While performing standard tasks (Web research, presentation creation, composing articles, emails, etc.) I am getting over 16 hours of real computer use between charges. I am not a computer gamer, nor do I perform video editing. So far, I have not found any productivity apps I use that do not run Windows on ARM natively.
That ASUS can pack such a powerful, efficient processor and an ample battery in a package weighing about 2 pounds is astonishing. Typing on the keyboard is a remarkably satisfying experience; this is one of my favorite laptop keyboards, with good key travel, no mushy bouncing, and ample key spacing. The trackpad is mechanical but works very well.
So, is this the perfect computer for general use? Note that there is no haptic trackpad, no touchscreen, no fingerprint sensor, and only a 60Hz display refresh rate. Camera and speakers are good, but not outstanding. However, I find none of these “deficiencies” to be deal breakers, as adding any more features would create a heavier, more expensive computer with less battery longevity.
I am very happy to have a superb laptop that is easy to carry, has an extremely long battery life and sumptuous display, and that is a joy to type on. It ticks all my boxes!

This is a great laptop for everyday use that runs very quickly. The mouse is very sensitive and sometimes clicks on items while I'm scrolling because of how quickly it scrolls when I'm sliding my finger on the mousepad. But I love how quickly and easily each webpage opens, even when I have multiple tabs open at one time.
The laptop was a cinch to set up and update Windows. Probably took me about an hour to fully set it up and apply all of the window updates. I love setting up a new laptop nowadays because once you sign in with your Microsoft account, all of your apps from previous and current laptops will automatically populate on the new one. The size is perfect too. A nice compact, lightweight fit that will fit in most standard laptop bags. This also comes with a co-pilot AI, which I love using on my other laptop. You can ask anything, and it will give you great information on whatever you are searching. I searched for information on an upcoming trip, and I got some great feedback and information on places to visit on our upcoming trip.
The colors and personalization on your webpages are also a beautiful addition to the newer laptops. I love customizing my webpages and adding a little color to brighten them up.
Charging was also pretty standard and took me about an hour to get to a full charge at about 30% battery. The battery also lasted a pretty decent amount of time while surfing the web. I scrolled and played around with it for a few hours and it was still above 50% battery. It is very lightweight and the color is a nice tan color that looks great. I would def recommend this laptop to everyone.

Great laptop! Feels incredibly light, but still fairly durable. Screen is great, colors really pop. Best element of all is battery life, feels like it runs forever on a single charge. Mostly using it at home, but imagine it'd be great for travel.

Very easy computer to use, and it was able to set up with no issues. It’s quick as well as the display is very vibrant. The speakers are a four out of five, but I’m always using headphones so not an issue. But great performance overall

This is the lightest weight laptop I have seen. I bought it due to the powerful processor and the weight. I bring the laptop in my carry on roller bag when I fly somewhere. Makes life easier.
