    Hmmm I just bought it a couple of months ago, and back then it said it was in a big sale, but the price now dropped like $150 already... I guess this explains why my laptop is getting slow now. It sometimes needs to loading for a while when I put images in PowerPoint slides. The touchpad is hard to use.

    I have bought 5 laptops (3 Asus) from Best Buy, and I will NEVER buy from Best Buy again. I bought this for my college son. After two weeks, the computer would not turn on unless you did a hard reboot. Then it would work for one day. We called Best Buy who told us to call Asus. Asus support had us try setting some system, and to take it to Best Buy if that didn’t work. It worked for one day. Took it to Best Buy who accused us of damaging it and they sent it to their geek squad center. Geek squad spent less than a day on it and said everything was fine. Umm? Really? So now I have to send it to Asus and hope they fix the problem. And their shipping instructions come with warnings releasing them from liability, so I’m not very confident with the outcome. I am afraid I spent $1000 for nothing. Meanwhile my college kid is borrowing laptops from people to try to get through the semester. This is the second time the geek squad has done nothing for me. I will never purchase from them again.
