Excellent Laptop

The 11th gen i7 and 16GB ram give it plenty of power for everyday tasks, and it can even handle video editing! The GTX1650 is a lower-end gpu, but can still handle light gaming. The screen is crystal clear at 1080p. While it is limited to 60hz, the gaming experience is impressive considering this is not a dedicated gaming laptop. It's a powerful every-day laptop that can handle gaming when needed. I was able to run Warzone on low settings at around 60fps average, so it is definitely playable. The battery life is impressive and can easily last me all day with mixed usage. I wish this laptop charged via USB-C instead of a barrel plug, but it is definitely not a deal-break for the performance you get for the price. While I wouldn't buy this laptop specifically as a gaming machine, it's a great all-around computer with the power to game here and there when needed. I have a dedicated gaming PC, and this laptop is my 2nd machine I can travel with. So far it checks all the boxes and provides me all the power I need on the go.

Christmas present for my son

Bought a present for my kids and was not able to get to store. They automatically cancelled my present and did not want to honor the sale price. After thousands spent I can say I will not be coming back for any purchases ever again!!!!! Not the first time this has happen. Gave them a second Chance and I can 100 percent say they will never ever get my business again!!!!

Blue screen

Technical service told me that it was mother board issue and they couldn't fix it. I was using the laptop for 1.5 month. I was very disappointed.

Piece of crap

Computer went out on me after trying to update. Havent had this computer a whole year and its gone. Basically used to just surf web and homework.

1. Unplug the charger
2. Press and hold the power button for 1 full minute
3. Plug in only the charger and start up normally

Good specs, bad at it's job

I read Asus reviews did all my research before buying. They were supposed to build some great quality stuff. Turns out, not so much. I returned this and got another device.

All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, the flickering screen is a random problem. To resolve the flickering screen issue, please check if the chipset and video drivers are up to date. Also, please try to connect the laptop to another known good power source or AC outlet and away from electronic or electrical devices that maybe generating excessive electrical or RF noise. Uncleaned power source or faulty electrical or electronic device that is generating excessive electrical noise can disturb static-sensitive devices or components in the laptop that may cause the screen to flicker.

Monster!

It's beautiful and powerful. Not as thin as a MacBook but slim enough. I've had multiple things connected and didn't dampen performance at all. This easily replaces my home desktop as it can do just about everything. It's not too heavy either. You cannot go wrong if you purchase this pc.

A little small but totally packs a punch

With getting all the updates installed, I had to admit that the reboot is the fastest I've ever seen. Graphics are super clear and quick to load, even on graphic heavy sites. This is the first laptop I've had with the flip technology where you can flip the laptop around. It was a little odd to adjust too, but the screen automatically rotates at the tipping point of the screen. There was absolutely no lag time which surprised me. I'm super excited to use that functionality. The overall size felt a bit small. The keyboard is consolidated so that was a little bit of an adjustment as well. I'm still trying to adjust to the number keypad being a bit smaller and have to keep correcting what I enter. I should be able to adjust though so I wouldn't let that stand in your way if this laptop checks all the other boxes for you. Power button is on the side of the laptop instead of the top. I'm sure it's do to the consolidated keyboard but that threw me off trying to track down the power button. Not a big deal of course, but just something to note since I'm sure there's other things like that due to the smaller size. Overall, the laptop is super easy to use and is loaded with lots of great features - flip screen, speed, touchscreen. What more could you want in a laptop?

A Good Business Laptop
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly I wasn't sure if I should give this laptop a "ho-hum" review or not: Aside from the updated specs - 11th Gen Intel Core i7, 2x Thunderbolt 4, HDMI and USB 3.1 type A ports - there's nothing that really sticks out about this laptop. But perhaps that's a good thing. The screen is pretty nice, with a standard HD resolution, and the bezels are relatively narrow. Using the laptop in table mode is...OK...but hampered a bit by the 15" laptop size and weight. The graphics card is passable, but one clearly shouldn't expect expert gaming performance from it. The overall presentation makes sense for getting work done - not really for playtime, and that's fine. It's also where I get the feeling Asus wanted to go with this laptop. For one, the camera is pretty good. But the audio? WOW! It has various noise cancellation profiles to help you block out the noise while in a call. I was pretty impressed with it and tested different noise cancelling strengths to see what worked best for me. Otherwise, there's pretty of memory and SSD drive space to do your job. Plus, with a Windows Hello camera, logging in has been quick. If I had to list one little annoyance, it would be opening the screen. There's a slight lip near the trackpad, but it's not always easy to grasp the screen from there. The result is that I sometimes have to hold the laptop casing in the right place in order to open it. It can be a tad awkward, but not a dealbreaker. In all, the laptop does not really have a Wow! factor, but if you're all about getting business done, this laptop delivers and does it well.

Literally caught fire

ZenBook Flip 15 Q528EH 15.6" - simply great!

I have so many positive things to say about this laptop I'm not sure where to start. I do agree with all of the positive reviews about it- super fast, love the sturdy metal feel exterior (military grade, very well build), it is slightly on the heavy side, but I find it not so important based on the other positives it has. I trying to figure out why so many people complain about the backlit keyboard??? it works very well- has 3 settings of brightness and i personally using the lightest one and see all the keys just fine. No issues. At times i put it in the middle bright, but i find the highest well to bright for me. The IPS screen works wonderfully and i turned on the "yellow" screen (Eye care) on the lowest yellow and i can be working on the laptop for hours without any eye problems (like dry eyes or headache i was getting on my previous laptop with the regular screen). i like the camera shut on/off button to protect my privacy. Windows Hello with face recognition works outstanding. It's a fantastic laptop for the price. I personally highly recommend this product.

Powerful but heavy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's nice to have a convertible in the 15" range but you really pay for it in the weight of the unit with this model. Screen is ultra sharp and - as with Windows - totally useful as a touchscreen. However, to really take advantage of this model you'll want to get a stylus. Another downside, though, is there's nowhere to store it if you get one so you're left with a stylus floating around your office/desk/bag which is also a pain. Performance is good for Photoshop & Lightroom which is what I mainly use this laptop for right now, I just wish it were lighter so that using it as a tablet (screen flipped all the way around) didn't cause my arm to get tired w/in the first 5 minutes!

Audio issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Almost a perfect laptop, but heres what I don't like. First, I'm having some audio issues. Sometimes I plug headphones in, the laptop does alert me I have headphones plugged in, but (sometimes) the audio still comes out of the speakers. Ran diagnostics, it will say everything OK, it even gives a test tone that comes through the headphone fine, but still won't be right in real world unless I restart PC. Drivers are up to date. Its not often, only once in a while issue. Also, regarding audio, the speakers are woefully low volume. I dont care how good a laptop sound "quality" says it is (Harmon/Kardon branded) but when you have to have it on MAX volume every time, its really annoying. I turned off all audio enhancements to help, still bad. I'd also wish there was 1 more USB input...theres only 1, and I use for my wireless mouse, so that leaves me with none to use. Have to use a USB to Thunderbolt/C adaptor when I plug in a thumb drive, or else I have to swap with my mouse. Also would rather the headphone jack be placed in a better spot. hard to find, Ive learned its lined up with the "3" on the number pad. Hard to see it, too, so dark, I shouldnt have to lift up my laptop side to see where that plug hole is, or else Ill be scratching the plastic trying to find it with the plug tip. The ability to turn this into a "tablet" wasn't a huge reason I got this, but I thought it may be fun...but that fun didnt last, its just better being a laptop, in my opinion. Never really "feels" comfy as a tablet. My opinion, not a flaw. I'm giving this 3 stars stars due to audio being the only "main" reason, and maybe there will be a driver update to help. I can deal with the other "cons", and the rest of this laptop is either "as expected" or excellent. Awesome screen. Fast. Battery life a bit better than expected.

Highly Recommend ASUS

First, shoutout to the rep that rang us up. He gave us an additional discount on top of the open box discount which he did not have to. That was a pleasant surprise. The ZenBook so far has been excellent. Boots up quickly, the touchscreen responds well. I have yet to try it as a pad with a pen. That is next on my to do list. The item does have excellent specs, and you cannot beat the price.
