    Laptop is very nice looking and lightweight. Straight out of the box, it was easy to setup and turn on. It came partly charged, but for some reason I had to plug it in to get it to turn on initially. When it did boot up, it was charged partially. Set up was a cinch and it connected to the internet right away. For some reason, laptops before would take a few minutes to recognize the internet connection. Not anymore in the newer laptops, which is fantastic. The keyboard is really nice. I love that the 10-key is available because not a lot of laptops have that. I really wish they all did, but this one does so that is huge bonus. The screen is awesome and the OLED is a nice touch. Its touch screen so you can convert it to tablet mode and fold the keyboard back. The laptop does not take long to charge up. Takes me about a little over an hour to get it to full charge and the battery will last me about 8-9 hours which is pretty great. I dont have to take my wire everywhere with me, unless I plan on traveling over night. I can take it on a full charge to school and it will last me the whole day. It navigates quickly and I can browse through different websites quickly without any delays or the laptop freezing. I can also have several windows open and the laptop wills still load quickly. I really am loving this laptop already. This is a pretty good deal.

    Laptop is too good, no was too good. I was very much satisfied with the performance, look and convenience, but all of a sudden it stopped working, now I can't even switch it on. It's like dead...

      Dear Gigo,

      If the laptop will not boot up or it's just black screen, please do the following. Please try to do a power cycle by pressing and holding down the power button to shut it down completely. If it still black screen after a few minutes, at least 10 minutes, please repeat the power cycle process again. If the laptop is applying updates in the System Registry, it will black screen temporarily until the update were applied successfully. Also, please try to disconnect the power cable and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory. This will reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter, do not power on the laptop until the battery was charged.

    edges of the Zenbook are sharp and make carrying tedious. Keyboard lacks good tactile feel and cramped by inclusion of a miniscule numeric keypad. Tedious for anything requiring keyboard input. Despite the hype, the display was not awe inspiring

    Beware: Asus Q529ZA Screen Failure

    Don't buy! I'm reaching out in a bit of desperation and frustration. My Asus Q529ZA, barely a year old, has its screen completely dead - just a month past the warranty period. After rigorously following every troubleshooting step listed on Asus's website, I'm still staring at a blank screen. When I contacted Asus support for some sympathy or a solution, I was bluntly turned away. Their indifference to my question about the short lifespan of their $1000 laptops was both shocking and disappointing.

    Originally I was super stoked about getting this laptop but I was really let down at the laptops performance, try to do homework but it constantly has trouble connecting to my network. Has trouble connecting with Wi-Fi in general. Really so disappointed as I’ve paid a lot of money for a laptop that doesn’t want to work. Plus not to mention these problems take time away from my day. Not sure if this is only my laptop cause I see all the good reviews but I kinda wish I went with a different laptop.

    Excellent purchase with the Best Buy Team saving and transferring all my data from my old, failing laptop to the new one. Only waited two days for it to get delivered to the store once purchased. Very happy with the purchase. Love the touch screen feature!

    Good laptop, but short on ports; advert makes it sound as it has more ports than it does. Win 11 is not as friendly as 10, it would not let me use my Office 2007 which has all the feathers that i need.

    I have always wanted an ASUS and now I know why. The screen is awesome. For a larger laptop, it weighs little. It is attractive, fast, and boots up almost instantly. I also like the separate numeric keypad. This one is a keeper!

    Knew what she wanted and the agent in the aisle confirmed the details, showed us the choices and let us decide. Nice to be treated like we have brains. Offered some ideas but wasn't pushy. That's why we keep coming back.

    This computer has worked well for me. I'm in law school, so I do a lot of browsing, researching, watching videos, and drafting documents. It's quick. I don't use the touchscreen function much, and I rarely use it as a tablet. When you try to switch from laptop to tablet mode, it glitches a bit and takes a while to catch up to which mode you're in. That may be a setting or user error, like I said I don't try to use it much. Complaints are - the fan is LOUD. The charger gets very hot. Battery life has gone down over time, which I think is normal, but now it only lasts an hour or two before I need to charge it.

    So glad I decided on this Zenbook! It is fast and the best picture I ever seen on a laptop. This is a great laptop, I highly recommend it if your looking for one. Oh and I love the color blue!

    It was time to upgrade my computer from my old Asus. I selected this model for the features and am extremely happy. So far, it has been a great computer. Fast and easy to set up and operate.

    Beautiful at first, then the glitches began on the very first day of receipt. It started with intermittently typing backwards, then would correct itself. Next, what ever I was doing onscreen would work until I paused. The screen would then go to a blank screen, follow by a flash. Over and over. ;( all within the first hout. I will try a nother one. Fingers crossed.
