Pros: Lightweight Very stylish Great keyboard Backlighting is good Webcam is acceptable Decent temperatures, although warmer and louder than my Microsoft surface laptop. It's still within a good threshold. Cons: Trackpad is a no-go for me. Copy what Apple, Microsoft Surface laptop and Lenovo are doing. Small tactile bump is all you need. Not what Asus did here. Speaker is flat. No matter what I try to change in the settings. It sounds like you're listening out of a tin-can for $1399 Notes: For these reason along with the touchpad I'm returning the Zenbook S. I really really wanted to keep this laptop for the weight, keyboard and display, but I expected more considering what their competitors are offering for less.

Great laptop. The screen definition is great. Touch screen and backlit keyboard great. It's very light making it easily portable for travel and I love the new privacy and performance features. If anything, The display is so good I wish I had a bigger screen so I may eventually get another ASUS product. This is my 3rd ASUS and I'm a 3x satisfied customer.

I was in need of a new laptop computer, mainly for personal use, and this beautiful machine was recommended to me, so I decided to buy it. It’s fast, has an excellent screen image, and the colors are very vibrant, plus it also offers AI technology, something I still need to learn more about. I’m grateful to already have an external DVD CD rom reader- writer, because this beauty is so thin. I wanted to install some programs from CDs, so an external DVD player is needed. I didn’t have any issues when I plugged it it into this laptop, via the single USB port, or any issues with its function. There are two USB-C ports, and one of them is used to power and recharge the built in battery, along with a HDMI port. It seems to hold battery life for a good amount of time. There is also a single USB port, but there are plenty of adapters on the market that offer 7 in 1 or more additional USB ports/SD card readers, for your needs. So far, I’m very pleased with this new ASUS Zenbook 14s laptop with AI abilities, something I’m looking forward to learning more about and how I may benefit from it. The keyboard has a backlight so you can see the keys in low lighting.

One of my highest concerns was battery life and the laptop being light. I also wanted power and considered the s16 but Im glad I went with the s14. It is very efficient and has more than enough power for simple task like watching videos and school work, you could even code on it. The battery is 12 hrs plus on casual use and 8 on heavy use. And it has a beautiful oled display for watching entertainment, on white backgrounds it does show a rainbow effect though. Ive had this laptop since October 2024 and still love it. I highly recommend this product!

Great new laptop that more than provides the processing power to accomplish my tasks. First type taking a shot with this brand and so far, it's working better than expected. fast processor, lots of memory, and plenty of SSD. Beautiful screen and very good battery life. Definitely recommend that all drivers and software be updated once purchased. Large keyboard keys and well lit.

Excellent build quality if you can tolerate a paltry 16gb of RAM. Screen is beautiful. Bummer that they don't come with the nice pouch anymore, but I guess nothing is immune to shrinkflation. Excellent battery life, the lunar lake processor seems fine for office work, streaming, and some light gaming.

It has a beautiful display, very responsive touchscreen, nice speakers, around 12 hours of battery life, smooth processor, and can be used for anything including gaming work or school

Super lightweight and insanely performant. First time setup was PITA and very long which required internet connection and a Microsoft account. I know there is a way around it but it's not user friendly specially since it was for a family member who is not tech savvy. Beside that, it's a great machine. Very beautiful and vivid display. This is the first PC laptop that has a great battery life as good as the M3 MacBook Air.

Great laptop for travel/commuting. Lightweight, yet top notch build quality with amazing 3K OLED touchscreen. Productivity programs run flawlessly and multitasking is a breeze with the Intel Core Ultra 7.

Very light, great looking laptop. After initial downloads and updates it was very snappy for productivity and media consumption. The battery life is fantastic and it was nearly silent. Battery drain in sleep mode was also very minor.

Starts up super fast. Superior quality and Battery life. Can use it for 2 days without charging with moderate use. Light weight and very slim sleek design.

This is a good laptop that I wanted to like more than I did. First, the pros: super light, thin, solid chassis (very cool ceraluminum finish), excellent battery life, and beautiful screen. Cons: warmed up a bit under load with relatively quiet but whiny fans, uncomfortable to use on the lap. That last point may sound nitpicky but the issue is that the edge of the laptop is rather sharp (not rounded) and it digs into your wrists with typing. The trackpad while large and responsive, also goes to the very edge of the body which can lead to false inputs depending on how you hold it. Overall, it's a great looking and solid laptop that had a couple of design flaws that bothered me specifically.

I had to do a lot of background research when I decided to get the best ultra light portable laptop in the market. I struggled to decide between this and the dell xps 13. With the latest lunar lake processor and the specs that it came with, this was a clear winner. Especially the number of ports and the OLED screen made it more appealing to me compared to the xps. So far I am loving this laptop. It doesn't get heated at all. Although it has only been a week, but the aesthetics, light weight and initial performance have highly impressed me. Happy with the purchase, especially at the price I got it for.

I recently got this laptop, and I'm really impressed! The sleek design looks fantastic, and the touchscreen is super responsive. I have the laptop for two weeks and so far i'm happy with the product. It is lighweight, thin, has an attractive look, good touch pad and keyboard, i yet to have opinion on performance etc. The only cons i saw so far are very bad speakers which are either powerless and squeeking at max volume and the exterior is sensitive to fingerprints. The package came only with cable-glued US charger without the ability to change the cable to adapt to another socket.

As the title says, I've tried a few distros and they all work well. Make sure you're on a recent kernel. I'm coming from a 2021 MBA, and it's noticeably more performant, the screen is phenomenal, the keyboard is quieter with good travel, and the IO is better. It can game well too. I can run Baldur's Gate 3 at 1080p on the highest settings and still get around 50-60 fps. Mind you I haven't tried the more taxing areas like in the city. Overall, a great little laptop.

Very lightweight, and has a good battery life. The fans almost never turn on and the OLED screen is beautiful
