Not to mention I love the back lighting of the keyboard. The co pilot pc has been a game changer for creating power points for work sessions!! What used to take me 6 hours now takes me 1-2!!! I love this computer!!!

I love this computer it's used mostly for school for a Master's degree program so there are tons of tabs opened at once for research and it doesn't slow down. I would definitely recommend.

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this laptop for its 3k resolution monitor, and it didn’t disappoint. However, after one month of daily casual use (email, web surfing, some video streaming, occasional WoW playing) it refused to boot up after being shut down. After a one month trip to the ASUS repair center, where the BIOS was flashed, it was returned to me and was working again. Fast forward six months later, same issue again…shut it down one night and wouldn’t boot up the next morning. This time I took it to Best Buy and had the Geek Squad send it off for repair. This time the OLED module and screen had to be replaced, but after a month of waiting, Best Buy authorized an exchange because repairs were taking too long. Laptop was thin and lightweight but had an amazing screen, when it worked. It also heated up under normal use, using the ASUS onboard software it ran routinely at 80+C, frequently up to 90+C…made for a hot keyboard! Don’t know if i got a lemon or this is just a bad design.

When browsing and watching YouTube, it gets warmer than I'd like. But when it's plugged in, it gets shockingly hot, even after the latest BIOS update that was supposed to fix this. The battery life isn't great either; I get about 6 hours in these conditions. Everything else is excellent, with top-notch fit and finish, but I'll be returning it due to the heat issue.

However, i ran into a major issue. When I rest both hands on it in the typing position and used the touchpad with my thumbs, the touchpad cannot be clicked because my hand weight caused the chassis to deform, which resulted in the touchpad being clicked. All gestures were messed up and the trackpad became unusable at all. A haptic touchpad will get rid of this issue but unfortunately Asus decided not to put it on this model. Otherwise, I really like the design, the color, the screen and thr performance. Unfortunately, i had to return it because of this major design flaw :(

Excellent design, excellent OLED display, light weight and premium quality. However firmware needs to be updated to support 2TB SSDs. Would randomly crash with a blue screen error code 0xc000021a on Samsung 990 pro 2TB when copying large files or downloading large files. Officially, it supports up to 2TB but in practice, 2TB SSD would crash. Until this is resolved through a BIOS update, 1TB that came with it is the limit. Best laptop outright.
