    I haven't learned how to use everything on this computer yet, but everything I have used has been amazing! The face ID is super convenient.

    MY Asus died

    I was originally very excited to get this so called latest & greatest Asus Zenbook in Sept 2024. Well shortly after the warranty finished, in Nov 2025 my laptop screen went black. I couldn't contact Asus until after Thanksgiving since my Asus died on Thanksgiving day. I am in my upper 70s in age (on fixed income) and not physically able to get around. I love being on my laptop daily and treat it with kid gloves. What happened to my Asus? I need my Asus!! I can't afford to pay for fixing the computer especially when we don't known what happened! I never had a computer which died on me so quickly...right after the warranty finished??? My previous computers always lasted more the 5 years. PLEASE HELP!

      To help resolve the issue, we recommend performing a Hard Reset, which may restore functionality:

      Hard Reset
      1. Disconnect all external devices, including the AC adapter and any USB devices.
      2. Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds.
      3. Reconnect the AC adapter.
      4. Attempt to power on the device.

    Great hype, but battery life falls short

    I was really excited to buy this laptop after reading all the reviews about its performance and amazing battery life. However, I think I have to return mine because the battery is awful. I’ve installed all the possible updates, but it’s still disappointing. I lost 20%!!! of the charge in just one hour of web browsing and copying files, even in balanced mode. Overall, the performance is just okay, similar to any other new laptop. My previous Surface Studio laptop, which had half the RAM and an older processor, was faster at activating the camera for Windows Hello. It’s sad to see such a beautiful laptop perform so poorly.

    The new AMD chips don’t seem to live up to the hype. Performance is fine, but behind M-series and Snapdragon chips in my workflows. There are also a lot of the typical AMD graphical glitches on my machine. The touchpad is ok, but not as good as you find on Surface machines. The finish is also a bit bizarre; it doesn’t look very professional. All in all: a fine machine, but nothing special. I was hoping for more from the new Ryzen chips.

    Works but overheats and randomly turns off even when it’s not overheating. Sometimes freezes and pauses the screen. Battery life was good though

    Screen failed 1 month after warranty expired

    Screen failed one month after the warranty expired despite very light use (still works with external display). Some googling shows this is incredibly common problem for this model but Asus will not cover it. To fix will cost $600, so I'm out a laptop.

      We certainly understand your disappointment the laptop and the inconvenience this may have caused if the screen stop working one month after warranty expired. ASUS is an ISO certified company, and as a result, all products go into a strict quality manufacturing standard. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections that ensure each one is trouble-free. The screen not working after a year of usage is a random problem. If the laptop will not boot up or it's just black screen but the fan, please do the following. Please try to do a power cycle by pressing and holding down the power button to shut it down completely, then power on. If it powers on but stays on black screen after at least 10 minutes, repeat the power cycle process again. If the laptop is applying updates in the System Registry, it will black screen temporarily until the update is applied successfully. Additionally, please try to disconnect the power cable and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory. This will reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter, do not power on the laptop until the battery is charged.

    I ran into issues not even a year into getting this laptop. The computer is laggy and overheats easily. My screen was completely blacked out, so I had to bring it into Geek Squad to fix it. Now, a few months after fixing it, I have to bring it in again because my screen is glitching.

    Really wanted to love this laptop, it has a great screen, good build quality and awesome specs. But I think I got a defective piece. Display kept twitching, laptop crashed sometimes while simply using youtube and it had other software issues as well. Ended up just retruning after a week.

    The screen looks great and worked well. Within couple of months the keyboard has issues, some keys are not working. Now the webcam does not work. When I contacted support was told that warranty does not cover any defects in the product. These are defects in hardware but they are not willing to address them.

    Do not buy. 80 degree celsius as im writing this review. If you do not know computers it means my fingers burn just from typing. I only have 1 tab open and this computer is frying me alive. I contacted Bestbuy they will not help you after 15 days so do not expect to be able to return. I contacted ASUS they said they will not help me as I bought off bestbuy.

    Great build and specs of the laptop but got an insane amount of Blue Screen of Death errors that caused too many restarts and made the laptop horrible to use. Tried different ssd drives and windows 11 reinstall too. Could be a faulty unit but the specs on this laptop is great
