Less than 2 weeks already started having issues. Shuts down while using it. It was a gift so I have to wait till I can get it back to take it in for replacement.

Ultra light 16 inch with a major design flaw

However, i ran into a major issue. When I rest both hands on it in the typing position and used the touchpad with my thumbs, the touchpad cannot be clicked because my hand weight caused the chassis to deform, which resulted in the touchpad being clicked. All gestures were messed up and the trackpad became unusable at all. A haptic touchpad will get rid of this issue but unfortunately Asus decided not to put it on this model. Otherwise, I really like the design, the color, the screen and thr performance. Unfortunately, i had to return it because of this major design flaw :(

Besides this, everything is fantastic and the screen is gorgeous. Form factor makes it portable even at 16 inches.

Excellent design, excellent OLED display, light weight and premium quality. However firmware needs to be updated to support 2TB SSDs. Would randomly crash with a blue screen error code 0xc000021a on Samsung 990 pro 2TB when copying large files or downloading large files. Officially, it supports up to 2TB but in practice, 2TB SSD would crash. Until this is resolved through a BIOS update, 1TB that came with it is the limit. Best laptop outright.

I love this computer it's used mostly for school for a Master's degree program so there are tons of tabs opened at once for research and it doesn't slow down. I would definitely recommend.

Touchscreen stopped working after 4 months, then the camera, and after all, the screen. I believe these problems are all due to the extreme overheating. I noticed a BURN MARK on the casing near the screen hinge. Yes, that is how bad the laptop is designed!!!! Now, a $1,400-Zenbook laptop has a dead screen and lies as a desktop pc connected to a monitor. Save your money and do not buy Asus S16
