I love it. That being said I gave 4 stars because
1) It doesn't have the 10 key buttons
2) It seems to come with One Drive. Which I did not want.
3) Some navigating seems more difficult than all my old PC'S.

The best laptop of the year 2024. best design. Track pad is really good. sleek design. The only thing that can improve the annoying fan noise that I get sometimes.

I like this laptop very much except there is a problem with its speakers. They stop working for some unknown reason. I have to restart the computer to get the speakers to work again. It has been inconvenient during Zoom meetings

Excellent handheld, basically improves on all aspects from the first gen including much better triggers and better battery life. Only thing is it's noticeably heavier.

I thought the computer was good, but the backlit keyboard was way too bright even on the lowest setting. I had to close the laptop lid while turning to the backlight down so I didn't blind other people on the airplane. The touchpad could also be better, mechanical just isn't that helpful.

Design is excellent. The laptop looks beautiful. Speakers are awesome. Screen is nice but very very glossy. Port selection is good. Windows felt snappy overall. Track pad is pretty solid. Battery life seemed okay.
The biggest problem was how hot the keyboard and bottom felt when performing heavy tasks. Very hot to touch. Would burn your skin if touching. The fans would run while even watching 4K video on YouTube. This was a turn off for me so I returned the device.
Most reviews have the same concerns with the heat so it is not isolated to this unit it is a design flaw across the board.

The Zenbook S16 is built on an unstable firmware stack — EC, ACPI, and I2C constantly fail in different ways, and ASUS’s forced power‑management only hides the instability instead of fixing it. Every reboot brought a new failure, making the laptop impossible to rely on. This isn’t a stable product — it’s a rotating set of problems.

Machine is great, AI issue

Lightweight, but very easy hot in summer for 2 reason:
+ Main issue is AI taken too much performance.
+ Design isn't good enough for cooling device.
