    Defective hardware

    The screen looks great and worked well. Within couple of months the keyboard has issues, some keys are not working. Now the webcam does not work. When I contacted support was told that warranty does not cover any defects in the product. These are defects in hardware but they are not willing to address them.

    Defective, software issues and twitchy display

    Really wanted to love this laptop, it has a great screen, good build quality and awesome specs. But I think I got a defective piece. Display kept twitching, laptop crashed sometimes while simply using youtube and it had other software issues as well. Ended up just retruning after a week.

    DO NOT BUY THIS! I purchased one in May 2025, wowed by the OLED display. The display failed within 4 months. Best Buy was great and swapped me out with a brand new unit. Well guess what! It failed again after 3 months. I take great care of my laptops. No drops, no spills. There is no excuse for making a product like this. Repeat failure wiht a completely new product lets you know this is a very poor product.

    the computer and service are horrible. within a week the child lock was stuck on and ultimately had to have the operating system re-installed. about 3 months later, the computer died and there is supposedly some crack in the screen, but per Geek squad it will take 6-8 weeks for it to be repaired under warranty (I cannot be without my laptop for 2 months)

    Been using for about 2 weeks now and loving every second of it! The only complaint I have is that the touch pad is a little TOO big but that’s probably because I’m not used to it yet!

    I generally like ASUS laptops, but I had a bad experience, actually several, with this one. The first one I bought constantly overheated. GeekSquad tried to repair it but to no avail, so they replaced it. The replacement had a bad motherboard, so that got replaced as well, but with a different brand. The odds of getting 2 bad ones should be fairly low, so maybe there is some issue with this particular model.

    Do NOT buy. Had this laptop for a week. It would constantly shut down and would not turn on for hours due to how hot the computer got with only a couple hours use. You cannot put this laptop directly on your laptop due to how hot it gets when in use.

    The laptop over heats like crazy, the battery is not at all as advertised, doesn't even last more than 4 hours of YouTube. It started crashing a lot after a few days. So many blue screens of death. DO NOT BUY

    I have to say, this is one slick looking and compact laptop! This has to be one of the thinnest and lightest laptops I have ever seen in my life. Its less than a half inch thick and barely over 3 pounds. You really can take this thing anywhere. Throw it in your backpack or briefcase and you wont even know it’s there! Even though it is thin and very portable, you can tell that the build quality on it is very good. It doesn’t feel flimsy or anything like that. I don’t feel like I could easily bend the metal or anything. Under the hood you have an absolutely gorgeous 3K OLED touchscreen. It looks amazing and the touchscreen works perfectly. Its very responsive and easily tracks my fingers when I touch it. It has 24GB of ram which is quite a bit for a laptop, especially one this small. There is also a 1TB SSD in it as well. That will be good for most people, but after opening it up it looks like you could upgrade the hard drive to something larger if you wanted to. The RAM is on the board though, so you can’t upgrade that as far as I can tell. The keyboard and touchpad work great. I found the keys and large touchpad to be very responsive. The keyboard is also backlit as well so its great for working in darker rooms. It has a lightning fast AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processor that is held back a little bit by the Radeon 880M graphics card. It has a good number of ports that will be plenty for most people. It has a regular USB port, 2 USB-C as well as a full-size HDMI, audio in/out jack and an SD card reader. I am very happy it has the card reader; I know a lot of manufacturers have been removing those from their laptops, but as a hobbyist photographer it makes transferring pictures very easy! As far as performance goes, this will be able to easily handle pretty much any task you throw at it, except for hardcore gaming, more on that in a bit. As mentioned, before I do photo and video editing and this runs things like Photoshop and Premiere just fine. Day to day tasks like word processing, checking emails, web surfing, watching streaming videos are all a breeze for this machine. As others have mentioned this can get a little hot if you are pushing it, but I didn’t find it to be excessive or anything like that. Probably because it is so thin it is hard to get a lot of cooling fans and things inside. As far as gaming, if you are trying to play any kind of modern game (not something that you would download in the app store) it will struggle a bit. It has plenty of processing power and RAM, but the graphics card holds it back a bit for hardcore gaming. This also has the Windows Copilot AI built in. This means that it doesn’t have to go online to do a lot of tasks and can handle a lot of them internally which means it is much faster for the user. AI is still in its infancy, but it is a great tool to have on your laptop and another wonderful tool to have. I look forward to seeing how it evolves in the future! The battery is also amazing in this as well. I am easily able to get through the day, but it also has fast charging so even if it does get low, you can get it charged back up very quickly! They say in just 49 minutes you can get a 60% charge which I found to be accurate. Overall, this is an amazing lightweight and ultra-portable laptop. It gets a little warm at times, but it performs great and I think most people would be very, very happy with it. Another top notch product from Asus!
