Works great. Great graphics for a laptop, and runs excellently whether playing games or doing work. Very quiet keyboard, large mousepad and good battery life.

This has been a great productivity laptop. The screen is amazing and lightweight makes it easy to carry around.

TL;DR: I was shipped an "Excellent" open box unit that was essentially a filthy brick. Zero stars for Best Buy for shamelessly shipping me a dirty laptop in an unusable state and passing it off as "Excellent" (defined as working and looking like new), while charging me a premium price over "Good" and "Fair" condition. Hey, BB, this is known as fraud. The three stars are for ASUS, who thankfully included in their BIOS a cloud recovery... albeit a monstrous 14GB download (?!). Why did it come to that? Because WiFi wouldn't work at all during Windows setup... a dead end. After hours making the laptop usable (including a while of scrubbing the dirty smudges throughout the top), I'm mostly pleased with it... So far my main gripe is that the dimmest keyboard backlight level is still too bright for night use. I had to angle the reflective display away from me to keep it from mirroring the backlit keys. Some other cons include the so-so port selection, the lack of a privacy shutter for the webcam, and the lack of a fingerprint reader, which ASUS seams to refuse to include in their laptops. Things I like include the OLED display, materials, aesthetics, light weight, speed, storage & RAM capacity, large trackpad, large keyboard w/o numpad, sound system, overall value, and ASUS' tasteful & useful software/firmware aids.

Great lap top, good graphs and fixtures, I will recommend it

I picked this laptop for its 3k resolution monitor, and it didn’t disappoint. However, after one month of daily casual use (email, web surfing, some video streaming, occasional WoW playing) it refused to boot up after being shut down. After a one month trip to the ASUS repair center, where the BIOS was flashed, it was returned to me and was working again. Fast forward six months later, same issue again…shut it down one night and wouldn’t boot up the next morning. This time I took it to Best Buy and had the Geek Squad send it off for repair. This time the OLED module and screen had to be replaced, but after a month of waiting, Best Buy authorized an exchange because repairs were taking too long. Laptop was thin and lightweight but had an amazing screen, when it worked. It also heated up under normal use, using the ASUS onboard software it ran routinely at 80+C, frequently up to 90+C…made for a hot keyboard! Don’t know if i got a lemon or this is just a bad design.

I've forever been an Apple user but with graduate school there was a need to migrate to the Microsoft workspace. This laptop made the transition super easy! The interface is easy to use, all of its systems work exceptionally, and it's lightweight which is always a bonus. It even runs my heavy programs and heavy games better than expected. Genuinely no issue, I recommend it to anyone looking to make the switch.

This is a beautiful laptop. The design and display are impressive. However, it gets so hot on the underside and keyboard that I am not sure I am going to keep it. It is amazingly thin but it may be the thinness that that is causing the heat issue.

This is a case of a laptop that is based all on design with no thought of function (mainly heat dissipation). The build quality/4K touch screen/cpu speed/battery life are all very good, but because of how thin this laptop is, the heat build up is extreme. The keyboard and underneath get very hot/fans are constantly running. So typing on this laptop is not very comfortable. Also would be concerned for longevity based on the heat build up over time, depending on how heavily it is used.

Great laptop, very slim, portable, and very nove OLED display. Handles the programs I use frequently with ease, which includes Matlab, Solidworks, programmimg compilers.

The laptop gets super hot while charging. Other than that its a great laptop for daily use with a stunning display.

One of the best laptops out in this size and specs. Doesn't get hot and is very efficient. Great screen and really good build quality.

Fantastic laptop! All the right features and specs to make this an excellent daily user for business and productivity. Having had a Carbon X1 as my previous daily, the 16" screen is much more useful than the 14" on the X1. In my research this was the best all around unit, without going with a dedicated gaming laptop.

A very beautiful and vibrant display and it never gets slow

Love this PC, the keyboard if super - can see the keys - so much better than previous MS Surface. Screen is lovely and now that my business 365 is installed - I'm set!!!

Excellent. It works great, it's ultra-light, and its battery is amazing. Its charger is ultra-fast, and overall, I'm very happy I bought it.
