Save your money, do not buy Asus S16

Touchscreen stopped working after 4 months, then the camera, and after all, the screen. I believe these problems are all due to the extreme overheating. I noticed a BURN MARK on the casing near the screen hinge. Yes, that is how bad the laptop is designed!!!! Now, a $1,400-Zenbook laptop has a dead screen and lies as a desktop pc connected to a monitor. Save your money and do not buy Asus S16

It was sent off twice due to malfunctioning fans and finally on the 3rd time, Best Buy let me do a return and I used it to purchase him a PC. Best Buy Total Protection was worth the purchase because this laptop was not worth the money.

I have noticed overheating issue which led to screen going black out and I just could not turn it back on. My previous ASUS laptop lasted for 13+ years without any major issues which is the reason why I purchased my 2nd ASUS laptop but it is a bit disappointing.

Hard Reset
1. Remove the AC adapter.
2. Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds.
3. Reconnect AC adapter.
4. Turn on the power of the device.
