Best Laptop- Macbook Alternative

Love it except glitchy sometimes

ASUS Zenbook S16

Fell Short, But Beautiful Design
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really excited about this laptop given its memory capacity, its 1 TB SSD, and the OLED screen. Beautiful laptop but the wifi kept going in and out, which was frankly terrible to use. It wasn’t my wifi connection that was the issue, as all my other devices were running fine. It was the laptop. I even followed Asus’ WiFi troubleshooting guide and nothing worked: https://www.asus.com/us/support/faq/1015073/. It was frustrating to see a new laptop not even effectively connect to wifi. I was so frustrated that I retuned it the same day. I later found out in other reviews that other users experienced the same issue. Save yourself the time and look elsewhere.

Runs well+amazing display that I won't buy again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing screen with almost no bezel. So little bezel that the screen cracks with the slightest bump... Without a warranty, a new screen from a certified repair shop costs nearly as much as a new laptop. So, no - despite the laptop being amazing, I will never buy it again. Asus - please work on making these laptops less fragile than a snowflake. Kinda defeats the purpose for a laptop to be mobile if it breaks if you look at it wrong.

Numeric key pad

I don’t even know what to say anymore.

After updates, camera is not recognized and won’t be until 24H2 is released. Can’t release 24H2 to Asus computers because of “known issues”. Excessive RAM usage. Lenovo i5 with 12gb ddr4 ram was running better than this laptop. Randomly turns itself off after idle periods with lid closed. Asus sent me to geek squad for warranty coverage. Was told by geek squad they can’t touch my computer because it’s a company computer and before that were trying to charge me 100$ for a “diagnostic”. Then proceeds to tell me that asus aren’t that good and to get a Lenovo. Be careful out here. These companies don’t give a crap.

Very service. Can’t return when discovered

By the time I bought adapter and tried it, the keyboard was sticky and had problems. I couldn’t return because it’s past 15 days. This is worst experience ever. Paid for best quality open box, got a defective and missing parts. Can’t return and can’t get adapter - fraudulent advertising.
