I bought this phone on sale, $99 bucks and it's mine with no contract! It's considered a budget phone, but it doesn't look like one. The finger scanner is very good and much faster than a pass word. I haven't had anyone access the phone with their finger print. The camera works good, but you need to change the default metering from center to average or pics look bad.(blown out). The battery last all day and after average usage at the end of the day I still have 50% to 60% battery!

Overall a good phone. Main issue is the fingerprint reader is pretty slow to activate.

This is a great starter phone. Has the luxuries of any android phone. Easy to use .

I bought this phone on a whim , I needed something fast. I was not expecting this phone to work as well as it did, camera is great battery life is decent.

Great long lasting battery with minor issue about touch responsiveness. The phone build is of solid quality materials but touch registering is not smooth like pricer brand. Excellent as a backup phone due to very long lasting battery.

I was an advit Samsung user, until I used this phone. ASUS goes above and beyond what I was used to. The phone is awesome !

I knew what to expect from the Zenfone 3 Max before buying it. The phone has a metal build, giant 4,000 mAh battery, and a fingerprint sensor. Other than that, the processor is weak and the camera is pretty lackluster. For $130 (normally $150), though, the phone gets the job done. You're getting a fingerprint sensor, big battery, metal build, and 2GB of RAM when most phones in this price barely have the 2GB of RAM. As a secondary phone or something for someone who doesn't need much, the Zenfone 3 Max is more than passable. I can appreciate everything but the MediaTek processor, which makes everything from Chrome to Google Assistant lag on a regular basis. Then again, the GPU in the SoC does play some games without any stutters or lags, which is a little puzzling.

Very responsive with a clean interface. This is my first phone after moving away from Windows Phone. I use my phone for very simple purposes- taking pictures for reference, web browsing, email, and texting. The sim/SD card arrangement is interesting. You can use either a micro Sim and micro SD or a micro Sim and a nano Sim. The battery lasts me nearly 48 hours. The fingerprint scanner took some getting used to, never had one before. It's thin, light, and feels like the perfect size in my hand.

Very nice phone phone for the price. I did not know what i was looking for when i went into the store. The salesman showed me the ZenFone. That's all I needed to see. i bought the phone and am very happy with my purchase.

The phone is good for the price. Screen is good. Good performance. Good camera for the price. Headphone was not in the package I received. I contacted customer service and they credited me $10. But I noticed a complaint with the microphone. Not sure whether it is Hardware or Software problem. When I put the phone in loudspeaker and go back to normal mode, the person at other side is unable to hear me properly.

For an 72 year old man who does not play game which requires power and memory, this phone is perfect (up to now): it is affordable, reliable , and has a good camera.

Battery does not stay charged as well as expected.

Nicely built phone, no cheap back plastic cover for battery and SIM card. Battery is sealed. Not bad for the 99.99 price I got over the holiday week.
