I’ve used other portable monitors in the past and while this one is NOT perfect, it beats the others. I use it mostly for my work-issued laptop but lately I have been using it more for my phone and other devices. I have an older Samsung Galaxy phone and this thing was literally plug and play. I've tried it on multiple different devices using both the USB -C cable by itself and with the USB converter and came out with good results. Only device i had problems with was my Lenovo Surface knockoff from about 4 years ago. It refused to work with the USB-C cable by itself but worked fine when used with the USB converter. (Important: If you plan on using the USB converter, make sure to download and install the Displaylink drivers beforehand) The best part about this monitor is the fact that it doesn't need a separate power cord. All it takes is just one USB cable. Again it's not the cheapest portable monitor available but this one uses a USB-C connector on both ends and it's not some unknown generic brand you find flooding other major retail sites. Also the cheaper portable monitors out there typically use cheap and/or outdated connectors and tend to lose connectivity with the slightest bump or touch. They can be very delicate if you ask anyone who has used one. This one is not. It’s been over a month and the connectors still feel good and most of all, not loose. I thought about returning it for a cheaper model but after experiencing virtually no issues for over a month, I decided I’m not only going to keep it but start recommending it to all my colleagues and friends.

Great picture and easy to use. The only negative is the stand to hold it up and act as a cover. Not easy to put on as a cover or use as a stand to hold it. Does not feel very durable.

Had to work on a trip and this was perfect. Good size, lightweight, easy to use.

At work I have two monitors to work on, however, when working from home, I had only the laptop itself. So when I starting looking into purchasing a monitor to help me work more at ease at home, I decided on the ASUS because of its size and price. I was not disappointed. Once I got the configurations right, working from home goes a lot smoother. A co-worker purchased one right after I purchased mine and she is equally pleased with her monitor.

This has been awesome! Love for travel and alternate work space where I need an extra screen! super light, portable, and easy to turn on and off. Took me a minute to figure out how the stand works and it doesn't work well on unstable surfaces but that's to be expected.

I wanted a portable monitor to mirror my MacBook. This monitor did not disappoint! Great size, easy to navigate menu, offers portrait or landscape view, plug-n-play ready, and offers outstanding portability. I like that it does not come with a power cord and the power comes from the machine you plug into. Adapter is included for USB and USB-C which is a plus. The Smart Case is easy to use and does the job. Highly recommend!

Got this for my gf to use for trading while working and she loves it. It’s light, easy to travel with, comes with a protective cover & good pic quality.

Great quality for the price! Powers up sufficiently with the USB-C input running off of a laptop without sacrificing screen brightness or resolution. Easy on the eyes. When Im done, I just unplug and place in laptop bag with laptop and it fits easily.

This is the 2nd portable monitor I've bought. The 1st one I returned to Amazon it was sensitive and the monitor kept blinking. This one I put to use right away and I love it! It's easy to use, it has the TYPE C cable. The Monitor sleeve that comes with it is a bit flimsy so I don't use it to stand up the monitor. Instead I bought a little stand for my phone and this monitor is so light weight it fits on it. If you're looking for a screen to extend your laptop, I'd recommend this one.

Really nice portable monitor. Works very well and seamless to set up. Would recommend to any of my friends. While pricier than other options on competing websites, key difference is weight (it’s so light) and the screen quality (blue light, sharpness) which are vastly superior

This is a fantastic, lightweight monitor. I do wish the angle of the cover/stand could be somewhat steeper when used as a stand. Also, the hole next to the power button that is mean for using a pen as a stand doesn't fit any pens, (mechanical)pencils, or styli that I personally use. My primary use for this is to easily have a second screen at school. Especially since I can fill out PDF quiz sheets on my tablet while the actual quiz is on the second screen. The fact that I can plug this screen directly into my Surface Duo and use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard is handy as well.

This is a nice portable monitor. I’m using it with a 2021 14” M1 MacBook Pro for non gaming work. I didn’t install the ASUS Mac driver for the ZenScreen and haven’t had any issues. I don’t like to install additional drivers unless absolutely necessary. I can rotate the display easily in Settings to switch from landscape to portrait modes. The ZenScreen has worked flawlessly since unboxing. Great for travel, great for a second screen at home. Display sharpness is good, but it is of course not the same level as the MacBook’s Retina display. Text looks a little fuzzy compared to the Retina display due to technology differences, no fault of the display. I don’t think that anybody makes a portable Retina display type panel. The display seems well constructed and travels well using the included cover/stand. Use of a single cable for power and video is great. An overall thoughtful minimalist design. Just connect the included USB C data/power cable and your ready to go. No regrets.

Got it open box for half the price. Best investment yet, portability gives me the power of having my office everywhere I go. Quality is enough for work and light gaming

Decent screen. Does the job. Easy to connect to my laptop with the provided cable. The stand is a bit of a pain but there's worse things.

This screen is great. It’s lightweight, works with my MacBook Pro (nothing needs to be installed), and is a great size to be able to carry in my backpack. I have been using this screen for almost a month and haven’t had any issues. The only thing that I am not a fan of is that the protective case is really just the stand. It clips into place over the screen, but really doesn’t seem all that sturdy. I do not know if I would trust it to truly protect the device.

I now have a third monitor which helps my productivity. My only tip is to make sure your laptop or desktop monitor settings allows external monitors to have a vertical view. I didn't know initially so i was wondering why the monitor would not shift the display when it was mounted vertically. Once I made the adjustment, the vertical feature worked immediately. The cover that also serves as the monitor stand is awesome. To add the necessary height, I placed the monitor on top of a yoga block. To use the monitor stand properly, place the stand flat with the illustrations facing up. Fold the cover/stand towards the two dotted parallel lines. The key is to fold the narrow flap that has the round peg at the end. Fold it so the flat black smooth plastic is showing. That narrow strip contains magnet. Align the flap within the two parallel lines. Once done a narrow space is created to securely slide in/insert the monitor. The monitor is fairly easy to figure out. The right button is the Power button. The two left buttons are used to set the display features. I do like the round hole where one can insert a pen to act as a stand. I don't think a stylus comes with the monitor but any sturdy pen that fits the hole should work. My only complaint is that it took nearly 3 weeks to have the monitor delivered to the store for pick up. I complained and I appreciate Best Buy Customer Service for resolving the issue.
