4.5 stars. Works great. Using this for travel. Only issue I have with it is likely due to what I am connecting it to. No issues when I connect it to my laptop, but when I try using it with an older 5th generation Surface, I get a warning that it doesn't recognize it. It still works fine, and I'm able to use it for a dual monitor setup necessary for working on the go, but it will occasionally get stuck in this loop, with audible alerts from the surface, looking for it, found it, looking for it... found it... etc. Minor issue, not sure if it would be resolved by connection to the micro display port in the surface, but I don't have the cable for that. All that being said, I would purchase again. This was cheaper than the other one I looked at, and it's easy to travel with my husband used it for a business trip as well, and his only complaint was he didn't particularly like the stand. I found the stand works ok, but is a bit finicky, unless it is set up just right, and is in a place where it won't get jostled.

Portable, light weight. Works well, no complaints. Love the case that comes with it. Powered by USBC. Little pricier than most, but also lighter in terms of weight, so worth it. And I trust ASUS brand.

Excellent second screen for my laptop. I'm always struggling for more screen real estate. This works very well with my laptop. I can always have my emails open on that screen as I do work on my regular screen. Very portable and easy to use. I only wish there was a way for me to plug my kid's PS4 into it. It needs another port for power. Other than that, it works very well.

ONE YEAR+ REVIEW: We bought this back in November of 2023. I sometimes work remotely and this screen is perfect. No extra power cord, cover doubles as a stand, fantastic sharpness and brightness. It's perfect for working from home. I've even used it for my DnD games to display information to the players.

A fantastic portable monitor. Purchased it for use with working from home and on the go. Sleek enough to fit in my laptop backpack. USB Type-C makes connection very straightforward and simple. No additional ports means the thinnest possible display. I would buy this again in a heartbeat!

Monitor was reccomended due to easy to transfer and setup. I 100% agree. As a content creator and college student, its light and durable, easily to bring with and setup. Only issue is that its size is pretty big so it's good for being at a larger space (desk) vs in class or in a airport, etc.

Awesome when traveling for work. Exact same size as my laptop screen, super thin, super lightweight, super convenient screen cover/stand and single cord connection. Have recommended to all co-workers. Adds almost no weight or size to my laptop bag.

Great product and excellent display. Ability to connect USB and USB-C. Only complaint is not a fan of the tri-fold stand/cover it comes with. Need to purchase a better stand separately.

I liked the screen but I didn't like the included cables and the button quality. It is an excellent portable monitor but they should make the stand a little better. I returned it back and went to purchase a traditional monitor for my specific use case. The is still a solid choice for portable monitor

Does exactly what I need it to. I love that it does not need a separate power supply. Slim, easy to travel with and great picture quality.

Love it. My work computer is a tiny 12.3" screen - far too tiny for my old eyes. While the ASUS Zenscreen comes with a foldable stand to use as a second monitor, I actually plop mine right on top of the keyboard and in front of the existing screen which effectively converts a 12.3" screen into a 15.6" screen. Voila! And I keep it in place with some rubber bumpers that I glued onto the keyboard. The only drawback to this configuration is that it obscures the computer's camera (the ASUS Zenscreen does not have a built-in camera, so when I log into Zoom meetings I have to either use an external camera or temporarily move the screen off to the side.). My colleagues also say it muffles my voice as it also sits in front of the computer mic. (Earphones with a built in mic easily solves this issue). All in all the ASUS Zen screen solves the problem I needed it to with aplomb. Easily transportable.

I bought this monitor as an extension of my laptop. It is thin and light. We can use it in horizontal and vertical positions, but we have to use the widget app in order to change the horizontal to vertical display vice versa. It is basically a good extension monitor and does its job.

Pros: Good display, no need for a charging cable, very thin, clever kickstand Cons: short cable, non-touchscreen, the brightness settings are very counterintuitive, doesn’t do too well in sunlit rooms I use this to replace my malfunctioning laptop display, leaving my laptop generally closed and docked. I picked up a Bluetooth keyboard and a mouse as well, but I sometimes want to use this display in lieu of a tablet, as it’s so convenient to hold. Since the display’s not a touchscreen, I always have to have my keyboard and/or mouse near me, even if I’m simply using the display to watch a video or take a test. For the price, I expect it to last a while. If it lasts over five years like regular displays do, then all of my qualms are just minor in comparison. Great for mobile professionals, but the short cable and lack of touchscreen accessibility drop a star or two for me. I’ll still be keeping the display, however.

I was considering the type that attach to the screen, but these seemed better and I trust Asus more than some of those other knock-off brands. These are great quality, slim, and fit easily in my laptop bag. Great buy!

I recommend this for a cheap and reliable portable monitor. They could have made a better stand for it though.

The company I work for has multiple buildings on our campus, and I’m constantly moving between them for meetings. I often find myself working a few hours from a hotel desk waiting for my next meeting, and I like to have multiple monitors which this one has helped me a lot. Great clarity, the brightness is amazing, super easy to hook up, and it doesnt hurt my eyes after staring at it for hours. Definitely worth the purchase!

This was the cheapest and most portable way to have a two screen monitor for my laptop. Seems like a good quality display and components.
