Asus zenwatch is pretty good. You can receive and make calls from the watch. One thing I didn't like is the gunmetal finished. The band is OK when you wear it for few days.

This phone was terrible. Wouldn't do anything except show text messages. Can't download apps unless you have a google device aka anything other than iPhone.

good for its price range, although it could use some work. My only complaint really would be that 1 gig of ram doesn't cut it for this device.

This is my first smartwatch so I did my research and couldn't be more pleased with my choice! I didn't expect it to have such a quality feel to it. I'm not a novice to android, having two tablets and my Samsung Smartphone, but wondered how difficult it would be to use this watch and android wear. Not to mention wondering if it would work with my inexpensive Samsung Galaxy Core Prime smartphone. But ASUS has made setting up this watch a breeze, even if your a rank novice to android. It literally guides you through downloading and installing android wear, pairing to your phone and is configured out of the box to find your network and setup Wi-Fi. It took all of 5 minutes to go through the setup and select a watch face. Within 45 minutes of perusing the Zenwatch website and some light reading I was able to ask the watch to tell me what was on my calendar for the next day (got a card telling me), asked it to call my sister-in-law by simply saying her name (in about 5 seconds it found her contact entry and dialed her number) and scrolled to my friend's name in contacts and verbally created and sent an email. I also wondered if it was too late to call my buddy on a business trip to Austin Texas, so I just brought up my wrist and asked my watch what time it was in Austin and received a card immediately telling me. A little later I placed an order on Amazon and before I thought about it my watch vibrated and showed me a card saying Amazon confirmed my order. It's wild! I bought it because I'm disabled and my only good hand is always holding my cane or my walker and I have trouble operating or even getting to my phone with the other. I can already tell this watch is going to be a godsend. I mean, if it did nothing more than what I just mentioned I'd be ecstatic, but if I could make it do all that after only a 45 minute familiarization period, I'm sure it will do many more things that will make me smile. Obviously I can't speak to longevity, and I'm sure I'll run into some software bugs but, even so, I'm thoroughly impressed. Lastly, I bought the gunmetal with a brown leather band and, the band fits me perfectly out of the box, is very comfortable, can be swapped out easily if I choose and the watch looks nice and the AMOLED display is bright and sharp. Great purchase!!

    Great Value for the Money

The ASUS ZenWatch 2 is a dramatic improvement over the previous ZenWatch model. Although most of the features are the same, ASUS has made some improvements: (1) a digital crown that can be used as a home or settings button, (2) a choice of watch sizes from 1.45" to 1.63", (3) a larger variety of band choices from rubber to stainless steel, (4) the casing choices are now silver, gunmetal or rose-gold. Previously, only silver was available. The best reason to get this watch is that it is an even better value than last year's $199.99 price. The ZenWatch 2 is priced from $129 to $149 for rubber or leather bands. Metal bands will be slightly higher. The only negative is that ASUS removed the heart monitor function that was present in the original model. It still has the pedometer feature. If you're looking for a smartwatch that won't cramp your budget, the ASUS ZenWatch 2 is a solid choice.

The watch is functional when it is working. There have seemed to be several issues with connectivity to the iPhone 6. I am going back to the store for the second time seeking replacement. Highly recommend getting the extended protection via Geek Squad.

I will say that it definitely looks better than the previous version. I love the functionality of the watch. I thought the face was a bit too big for my wrist though. ( I have skinny wrists). If you have average sized wrist and are looking for an inexpensive Android Wear watch, this is definitely a good choice to consider.

Long story short, the Best Buy rep gave me false info and I was extremely inconvenienced. He also gave me the men's watch. Not sure how it is with anything other than iPhone, but I would not recommend it for iPhone.

I was waiting for the gen 2 smartwatches to come out before I got one. This watch is an excellent bargain. Same internals as other watches at half the price. Battery life is great. if I keep the "Always-ON" screen mode OFF I finish the day with about 70% battery life left. If I leave Always-ON on I get about 40-50% left. It looks very nice. It's pretty big on my wrist, but looks better than other round watches I've tried on. BTW, turning off Google Fit helps the battery a lot, so consider that if you'd rather have battery life over Fit functionality.
