Great Smart Watch I got for my boyfriend for Christmas he loves it.

I love my Asus smart watch. It helps remind me to keep track of things I need to do and you can customize it the way you want it.

I should have waited to buy the next generation. You cannot interact on the watch like I thought you could. I don't like the fact that you have to be within 50 feet of your phone. I want a watch I can do everything without the phone

Gadget is good, although I expected more. I had trouble using other android apps to change the watch face but facing issues. Moreover, documentation that came with this watch is very minimal.

got this and returned. played with it for a couple weeks, but the talking to my watch thing was a deal breaker...

When I first purchased this watch I had such difficulty setting it up that I was ready to return it. No matter what I did it would not sync up with my Note 4. I finally gave up on it and an hour or two later it prompted to sync up on its own and then it worked fine. It then installed an update, which helped tremendously. I was really disappointed by the battery life for the first couple of days. One day it didn't even make it through the day before shutting down. After some research I found that battery life improved when uninstalling the Zen software from your phone. Viola! Now I get through a day and still have about 50% left even using the Always On ambient light mode. I'm glad I stuck with this watch because I really like it. It's very stylish, way nicer than the plastic Gear 2 Neo. The Android Wear software is always surprising me. Yesterday I was using Google Maps on my phone and the watch would vibrate and display directions whenever I needed to turn. I was also surprised to see MMS worked well. Voice recognition works nicely and I've sent several texts using the watch. It's not perfect; there's no speaker on it, so alarms (unless you're wearing it) and "find my watch" are useless. Battery life, while decent, could be better. Forget about seeing your watch in strong sunlight. Android Wear navigation is sometimes tedious, but the nice thing about having a watch that uses it vs the Tizen OS is that you can be sure Google is always working on ways to improve the OS and that it's reasonable to assume you'll get updates. Overall, I'd highly recommend this watch, especially given the price.

Returned watch. Excellent display my only complaint and ultimately the deal breaker was the feel of the watch band. Very stiff. Prefer my moto360 steel band

I usually don't write reviews however I was truly impressed by the ASUS Zen Watch. After using the ASUS Zen watch for a few days I have been surprised that this smartwatch hasn't received more attention. Using the Google Android Wear software program you can customize your android version 4.1 (confirm version prior to purchase) or later to make the Zen watch a perfect companion with your android device. I would like to say that this watch is not an Apple Watch killer as is touted so often in the bi-polar android vs apple world. First the Zen was released prior to the apple watch (I also love apple products too) and is dedicated to compliment android based phone owners. Now for the Zen watch critiques. The watch is aesthetically well designed and looks good with a suit or casual attire for both a man or woman. The leather ban and clasp are very comfortable and the 22mm band size allow for the purchase of any after market 22mm bands of your choice. There are over 4000 android wear apps that allow you to customize everything from the watch face to have the same bubble based style iOS found on the apple watch. The battery last full day with heavy use and because its a phone companion (which most people charge nightly) charging the zen at night is not that impractical of a requirement. The best thing about the zen is that it syncs and almost morphs with your phone and things like car navigation, messages, reminders and alarms seem to seamlessly blend in the way yarn tied around the finger. One important note that differs from the apple watch and this is that you can not answer your phone directly from the watch and it does not have a built in camera, which if you have your phone on you with 2 cameras do you really need another on your watch that makes it more bulky? Finally the price (on sale) of USD $129 puts the ASUS zen watch over the top as far as design (with gorilla glass 3) and the brilliant screen and wealth of android apps to include Google speak and GPS. The Zen comes with 4GB of on board memory and a quad core processor that is on par with many current tablets. I highly recommend the watch and I am also a verified purchaser of the product. Last note there is an ASUS Zen watch 2 that is scheduled to be released in September of 2015 with a crown control and upgraded battery charger.

this watch was not what I thought it was! it ran the apps really slow .. wasn't happy with this at all!

The band on this smart watch is way too small. I did not care for the interface or the watch face skins. I returned this product.

Easy to set up. It's very comfortable on my wrist. The battery life is great. Charges really fast. My only 2 gripes with the zenwatch are the bluetooth connectivity, it's touch sensitivity and OK google. I love the fact that with BT 4.0 LE, i can connect my phone to both the watch and another device such as my LG Tone Infinim or UE Boom. But sometimes, my watch will disconnect from my phone, even though my phone is in my pocket or in my hand. and about the touch sensitivity and OK google, sometimes ok google will come up when i didn't activate it, and when i try to dismiss OK google or any other display cards, i may have to swipe multiple times to dismiss it. it's in consistent. Overall, i love my zenwatch, and would absolutely recommend it
