there is no answering machine

In order to get voice mail or your messages you have to sign up with your pone service provider at an extra cost this machine does not retrieve messages

Only partially worked

So even though you could make and receive phone calls, there was no caller ID or even the time or date. Just lit up. Also, as a wall-mounted phone, it was very unstable. It had to be returned to the store
