It's ok, it's a phone and it works. Requires 15 more characters.

Bought it for the speakerphone feature, but the sound quality was so poor it was unusable. I wouldn't recommend it. Considered just throwing it away.

This was the only phone with the headset outlet I needed that was available at the time that I needed it. But the first one I bought had a defective dialpad as well as the second. The 3rd one’s keypad is defective as well but I kept it because I only need it for incoming calls which hasn’t been an issue so far.

Biggest drawback, when the power flickers or goes out, you must reprogram the phone all over again. No battery backup.

It did not work with my Netcom Headset well and I returned it. Buttons were cheaply made and it just felt cheap.

Great Phone espeically with a Headset

Good product. Great audio quality. Great volume. Also, and this was key for me, it can switch from a headset to the speakerphone by pressing a button. Good price I had a Panasonic KX-TS880B (which only has one line), but chose to replace it partly to add a second line, but especially because the Panasonic requires pulling the headset out to use the speakerphone, which is really not acceptable. The AT&T phone is much better.

Very pleased with the features on this phone. I use a combination of handset, headset and speaker phone depending on the nature of my call. All functions work very well. Using this as a one line phone at my residence, because of the feature set, including caller ID. Liked it so much, my wife asked for one for her desk use as well, for the same reasons.

I needed a phone that is uncomplicated like this one is. Large keys, clear loudspeaker, readily programmable speed dial keys, easy to follow menu.

Best Buy on-line description: 2-line operation; caller ID/call waiting; caller ID announce; digital answering system; 3-party conferencing; speakerphone; data port. Stated above is the BB description of a "digital Answering system", the reason I purchased the phone in the first place. I bought it as an all in one system for my mother as a gift a few weeks ago to give today. When setting it up, I poured over the instructions for about an hour trying to figure how to set up the answering machine & there was none. The conversation in trying to return a phone that wasn't as promised was painful. Moral of the story, understand that there is a 15 day window from time of purchase; don't buy gifts unless you're giving them that day & your gift recipient tries out said gift in front of you!

    UNUSABLE phone!

WORST PHONE EVER! If I could have given 0 stars, I would have! First, we bought the now-discontinued ML17928. The line (either one) make a clicking noise and cut out. The phone incorrectly dials numbers, even though the display shows the right number! The phone is UNUSABLE. BestBuy refused to take it back. We contacted AT&T and they refused a refund, so they sent us a replacement, the ML17929. Did the exact same thing. We even tried a different phone from our house in the office and replaced the phone line wires. Did not matter. AT&T tried to say that the clicking was from people talking on speakerphone at the same time. IT WASN'T.

    Awful speakerphone quality

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

After using for the phone for an extended period, I can conclude that the speakerphone has terrible quality. I have had multiple instances with a variety of callers who have complained that the speakerphone is clipping the making the speech on my end almost not understandable. Going to the handset solves the problem, which confirms that the speakerphone quality is a major issue. Again, many times and all the time, with different callers. So since I need to use the computer and talk at the same time, this office phone is really useless.

My mother n law is very happy with the Pre- program of numbers. I was very disappointed that my Best Buy credit card was declined, I've never was late on a payment and don't owe any money on it for the past 20 months.
