The AT&T cordless phone met our basic requirements but the sound quality is nothing special and the features are only consistent with other systems (nothing stands out as unique)

a good phone but has a terrible voice that announces the phone number that is calling. It also does not have a place to plug in earphones.

There are a lot of great features but they do not outweigh the problem with the keypad on each phone. It seems about half the time I make an outgoing call the numbers will stick and enter the same number multiple times. I have to hang up and start over. Every handset has this problem and it is very annoying.

I bought these for my grandma. She says they work good. I dont know many people with landlines anymore though.

I purchased the AT&T CL83484 "expandable cordless phone system" cordless phone when my present At&T cordless phone broke. I wanted a system with 6 phones. I bought the cordless phone that had 4 phones and SAID it was expandable. I ordered 2 extra phones. When I received the phones they DID NOT WORK. They would not fit the base station so I could not register them . I returned the phones to Best Buy and after checking ,Best Buy informed me that extra phones where not available for this particular phone system. If this is true and it seems to be , what makes this cordless phone system expandable. My original AT&T cordless phone worked fine for a long time and was expandable so I was satisfied and I was able to expand it. . I'm not satisfied with this new AT&T CL83484 system. It works OK but I can not add any phones to it.

Not pleased with this purchase. Will never buy this again. Very confusing to add numbers & named in the phone

This phone isn't too bad. Just needs a better mounting system and should come with some screws inside.

This phone system is okay...nothing special. Was expecting a little more from AT&T

I was very excited to get a home phone again so I bought these because there were 4. One stopped working after about 2 weeks My husband finally got it working again and now another one quit. If he doesn't get a working, will most likely return it.

Range is worse than my old phone :( Woudn't recommend

I can hear people fine when on the phone but after a few minutes they cannot hear me. We have tried each of the 4 phones and the same thing happens with all of them.

My experience with Best Buy was first rate. After selecting one phone system, I realized it wasn't in the correct place and the price was higher than I thought. So asking an associate led to me picking this one instead. While it wasn't in stock at the store, they ordered it there for me (on Saturday), and I had it on Monday! That's great because I live 2 hours away from the nearest store. So far, very pleased with this system. Nice upgrade and great price!

Buyer beware - If you have a DSL High Speed Internet, you'll need a DSL filter to complete the set-up of this phone system and there is not one included. Other than that, this is a very good telephone system. As far as the "Geek Squad" goes, I spoke to two Agents ( as they call themselves) and neither could give me a simple answer. Since there was no DSL filter included, I wanted to know if I could use a 2Wire DSL filter that I had instead having to go buy a single wire DSL filter. Neither could give me an answer.

These phones dial super quick and sound excellent. They have many features to communicate with others in your home.
