||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Many are not aware of this little known option. Don't fall for the carrier's expensive lease program. Buy this "prepaid" phone for a fraction of what the same phone costs full retail or on a lease program. This phone can be activated on a regular carrier account and isn't only for prepaid use. The Best Buy associate was super helpful in assuring me of this when I asked and proceeded to activate right in the store in just a few minutes. Great overall phone too but spend the money for a good protective case. Smart phones are super vulnerable to accidental physical and water damage. I recommend LifeProof cases. Some rubber trim etc will begin to peel after a few months but doesn't compromise protection, aside from complete water immersion
