    Incredible phone for $139

I bought this phone to replace an iPhone 5C. After fiddling around with the 6, 6S, and 7, I realized I didn't like the new sizes. They are way too big for my tiny elf-man hands. The iPhone 5 class form factor fits my hands perfectly. Physically the SE is nearly identical to the 5S, but from what I've read it has the guts of a 6. The speed and response time is so much better than my old 5C. No more waiting for movies or tv shows to load. Gaining an extra 16GB of storage over my old phone is nice, too. I hit a slight snag after moving my SIM over to this phone. It worked fine for a while but then my AT&T account was suspended. I had to spend an hour on the phone with AT&T but I finally got it sorted out. Just a heads up for those buying this as a replacement phone. It wasn't as easy as just swapping the SIM. Overall I'm really happy with this phone. For the speed, storage, and features it can't be beat for this price. There are only two cons. One is that the antenna seems to be a bit weaker than my 5C. So far it hasn't been a problem. Second is that some very old apps, like Star Wars sound board, won't run on the new 64-bit architecture.

I do not like apple products as you can only use apple friendly apps. It is too small of a phone and I’m an android user.

    Great Deal

This iPhone deal is $200 below (less than half) the retail price at an Apple Store. Maybe Apple plans a SE upgrade in the near future and they're unloading this model at cost. ??? The SE an excellent small smartphone. It's fast, bright, light and easily pocketable. The one I got is brand new, not refurbished as some have suggested. I inserted the prepaid sim card from my old phone and had zero problems.

    Finally an affordable iPhone!

Bought this once my old phone died. I always wanted an iPhone, but ain't about that high price life. I'm a cash girl, and Best Buy spoke my language with this one. 32g iPhone SE for less than $200? Can't beat that! I'm already an AT&T Prepaid customer, so all I had to do was transfer my service over to to the new phone, and I was good to go! For this price, I'm able to fully appreciate the iPhone experience! Thanks, Best Buy! *Note: You may have to call the service center to re-activate your phone (there have been purchase processing issues) , but the folks there are extremely friendly and helpful. Please be patient with them (it's not their fault), have your receipt ready to fax, scan, email or text to them, and be prepared to stay on the line for about 5 to 10 minutes while they get your service up and running again. It's a minor inconvenience for such a great deal, imo.

Great pre-paid or go phone for ATT

    Posted .

Great phone if you're OK with its 4" size and using it with ATT or as ATT Go Phone or Pre-Paid services such as Cricket, H2O Wireless and any ATT MVNO carriers. It has the same chip as the 6S and almost identical functions. No phone comes to its value of $200 in the market. However, it CAN NOT be unlocked through ATT Unlock portal as in the past. I had previous ATT or GoPhones unlocked in the past, but apparently ATT has changed its policies. It stated phone must has 6 months of "paid" service before unlock eligibility. I don't know if it includes ATT MVNOs carriers or must be Gophone Services. Will try again in six months.

Great little phone, Best Buy didn't register

It is a LITTLE phone, so it might not be good for not-so-perfect eyes, but it is snappy and clear. Had problem swapping from my old ATT phone to this phone--Best Buy did not register the phone properly. My account was suspended, so I called AT&T, and they asked me to email the receipt to them at [email protected] including the phone number in the subject line. I did this all while the ATT support rep was on the phone with me, so the account was re-activated in just a few minutes.

    Change settings for good reception

I struggled with the reception on this phone with no bars and dropped calls. I was getting ready to return it when I googled the problem. I read that if you changed the lte settings from voice and data to data only the reception would improve. This makes no sense to me but I was desperate so I changed the settings and now my phone works. My husbands old 3G Razr still seems to get better reception but at least it is now functional.

It's the 6S in a 5S body, minus force touch, different front camera, and the size. It says gophone, but it will work with Cricket, Straight Talk AT&T sim, etc out of the box since they are AT&T service. Mine is currently running on Cricket.

    The fastest cheap phone

To be honest this is one of the best phones out there only 150$ that’s cheap for a great phone I wouldn’t recommend paying 50$ more for an iPhone 6 cause the SE is basically the same but the 6 is bigger The SE can do anything with IOS 11

Best Buy doesn't sell new, but refurbished prepaid

I was surprised when I opened my package that the phone was not new. I brought it back to the store to exchange it, and the second one was just like it. The shrink wrap is loose, and the sticker is not authentic. The customer care worker said that all their prepaid iPhones are actually refurbished. I wish they had said that in their item description. Otherwise, it's an iPhone SE.

This is the perfect size phone. I thought it would be too small but I love the 4" screen. I used to carry the iPhone 6s Plus and it never seem to fit in my front pocket. The price is much lower than an iPhone 6 or 7. Take advantage of this while you can. Do not buy an Android phone. I have tried just about all of them to save money. You are just wasting your time. Apple makes the best phones.

    iPhone SE losing network connection

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This iPhone SE has great specs and a great form factor but it also has one major issue: weak cellular network connection! My other two family members have an iPhone 5S and an iPhone 6 and whereas at the same places they never experience any cellular network connection loss, my iPhone SE displays very frequently "No Network." If you search online you will find many people experiencing this same issue. It looks like there is a hardware issue with the antenna used in these devices. Unfortunately, I am at day 18 of this device and out of the 14-day return window, hence, I cannot return this device to Best Buy. Hence, do your research very well before buying this product, I just burned $199 for a phone losing network connection very frequently.
