Customers are saying

Customers love the LG Phoenix 2 for its affordable price, great camera quality, and ease of use. Many appreciate the large screen size and good battery life, along with the expandable storage. However, some find the placement of the power button on the back inconvenient and note that the phone has limited RAM. The phone's design and lightweight feel are also frequently praised.

Gr8 for price, nice quality device

The LG Phoenix 2 has a thin slender profile compared to the phones I've been using & is very attractive, looks & feels more expensive than it was priced. I was SO tired of 8gb phones that run out of room after adding very few apps that come stuffed with bloatware I will never use & can't delete. The Phoenix with 16gb hopefully will take care of the memory issues. With all of the app updates there'll be some room left for me. The phone received a big software update today upgrading it from 6.0 marshmallow to 7.0 nougat so if you buy the Phoenix 2 it will upgrade the Android OS automatically. The tap to wake feature is gr8. The screen is smooth &slick to the touch which makes touch much easier. The keyboard is very good, cheaper phones just don't feel like this. I'm making fewer mistakes so I don't need the editing functions as much. The phone responses are nice. I was able to download some text editors from Google Play including MS Word and I intend to do some word processing on this beautiful new phone. It's amazing what phones do these days.

I purchased this phone for my girlfriend. After about a couple of day of use, she started to complain about the battery life. She wasn't able to get maybe 6 hours of battery life and had to charge it again.

Just okay at first...then the phone slowed down..its way behind me in typing a message and browsing the web. Apps constantly restarting own it's own. Text go through quickly while phone calls take too long to connect. Today the phone rang and I was on fb I could hear it ringing but there was no call on the screen just fb....finally the slow phone catches up and the call is displayed...needless to say the CALLER hung up as the phone had rang several times

I'm glad I bought this phone on black Friday for $29.99 because that is all its worth. I would NOT pay full price. The phone lags straight out the box. I may turn it into a mp3 player.

    Good enough at best price

The price was only $30 on Black Friday, so unbeatable for a phone with so many features and power. I consider it a mid-range phone, but it probably is considered low-end by "experts". Aside from most other reviewers' positive points, the big plus I have not seen mentioned in reviews is that it seems to have an oleophobic screen that resists finger smearing very well, unlike any other phone I have had. I also like that a couple finger taps will show the lock screen with time and other selected info such as weather, although not as "automatic" as my Lumia 640 with the Windows Phone "Glance" feature (no touch needed, just a "hand wave" as with my old Samsung Note 2). Its textured back cover is easy to grip and fits my hand nicely, which is enhanced by an add-on cover with a deeply cross-hatched pattern for better gripping, and even has a pop-out stand - check that well-known auction site for similar if you want to keep it under $10 or so for a decent cover/case. Battery life is good enough, and not an issue for me since I plug it into car and house chargers every chance I get. BB has corrected their description to indicate the internal storage of 16GB, but it takes at least a 64GB microSD card (have not tested a 128GB card), not the indicated 32GB. Also, the model number is incorrect in the description - it should be LG-K371. The "MOTX..." looks like a Motorola model number I think. The power and volume buttons being on the back does take getting used to, but it does help access by either hand, and makes it "safer" to hold the phone with a grip anywhere along the edges , which is not true of other phones I have had. The QPair app feature works well with an LG GPad (also with AT&T LTE, but also workable with T-Mobile once it is unlocked by AT&T) to let the tablet show the phone's text messages, and some other such sharing features of the joint app running on both phone and tablet. My one peeve about the phone is that the nano SIM is harder to handle. I really see no justification for making SIM's so small as any modern phone has plenty of internal room for the "micro" size.

I've had much experience with android, windows, and IOS devices; this phone is extremely amazing for the price. If you are patient, you can snag this phone like I did for a mere $50-$60 on sale. Just keep an eye on the price. This phone has a sleek design, a pretty decent 8 megapixel camera for the price, and it actually has 16 gb of storage not 8gb! Many prices at this range it's hard to find with 16gb for google, so that is amazing. It also runs the latest Android Marshmallow and runs smoothly. To be fair, the only cons of this phone I will say can sometimes be the front-facing camera, the battery, and also the speed. The front facing camera has a flash option, but for those of you who like to snapchat -- the pictures come out a bit washed and grainy and it can't keep up with the filters/funny animation software built in. The battery is so-so, I usually catch myself charging it mid-day because it can run down pretty quickly even with moderate usage. It will last you a full day though if you use is sparingly, but if you're a media hound and you like to constantly be on your phone then expect to carry a charger or spare battery around. Also, because of the processing speed, sometimes you will notice a hiccup in the software or something taking a little bit to load -- it's barely noticeable though and happens once in a blue moon but when compared to a flagship or the Galaxy Express Prime (the prime wins with speed, but camera specs are horrible) Another thing to keep in mind when buying this device is that tempered glass screen protectors are impossible for this phone because of the curved edges. Any screen protector for that matter will leave air bubbles all around the edges and lift up with dirt/debris being able to collect. It's a horrible design flaw in some ways, but it's so aesthetically appealing and pretty that it doesn't matter HOWEVER the screen is very prone to scratches. I don't think the phone is gorilla glass hence the cheap price because I've had it for a month and have two hairline scratches already since I was unable to efficiently use a suitable screen protector because of the air bubble/screen design gap issue. However, there are multiple cases on amazon that are relatively cheap and will protect the phone from damage and could help in the event of scratches so that is fine. For the price, the phone is amazing. Don't expect flagship, but expect quality. It's amazing how much you can get with a phone at this price range compared to a $700 iPhone that doesn't even have expandable storage or even customizable software. I bought two of these just incase my main one breaks since I got both for the price of one (Like I said best buy will run sales that will knock this down to $50) so keep your eyes out for the low price if you want to get one for cheap or 2 for 1 as a spare or as a gift for someone. Get this phone if you want to experiment or try out android/need a replacement/want an android smartphone but don't want to break your wallet. You don't need to break the bank anymore for a quality android phone.

I got the LG Phoenix 2 for my Bday June 8th. And I love it. It's also the same phone as the LG Escape 3 by Cricket Wireless. Same phone just different name. The call quality is really really good. I was using the Samsung Galaxy Sol phone by Cricket but that phone's wifi kept disconnecting on me at times and It was really annoying. This phone however has never done that to me. Like I said call quality is really good. Camera has a 8MP rear facing auto focus to it and only one resolution. Just 8MP. No 5MP or 2MP. Just 8MP which is weird but camera quality in my opinion is really good. Better than Galaxy Sol phone in my honest opinion. No 1080p capture though. Curved edges are very sleek. Processor may only be a Snapdragon 210 but I haven't had any issues with it. The phone does come with 16GB of internal memory. and it has between 8-9 GB of user storage. I did some research on my phone and looked at what it had. and on my pc it says 9GB but on the phone it has about 8.22GB, but hey most budget phones only have 2-4GB of user storage so 8-9Gb is pretty good. Although the phone only let's you install a 32GB sdcard. Nothing higher which sucks. But it works for me. Now If ANYONE really wants to see a full review of this phone I just put one up today June 14th-2016 on my YouTube channel: Reaper2065. Be sure to check it out and leave a comment or if you have any questions on it. Great phone. Deff worth buying:)

Hi , Do not buy LG Phoenix 2 or LG Phoenix 3 if you are looking for 4G or LTE. These hand sets do not support 4G. I have got 3 phones including LG Phoenix 3. I am feeling deceived by the wrong information provided by Bestbuy on their webpage. Please do not buy if you want to utilize it for high speed data.
