Good Upgrade for Phoenix 2 vs Follow-on Phoenix 3
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All specs better than the Phoenix 2 ("P2", which was better than the Phoenix 3, which seemed to be a downgrade despite having a higher version number, and being newer). Got this for my wife after she got used to using Android on my old P2 when she converted from Windows Phone 8.1 (she would still be with that if MS had kept supporting it, and apps retained support/updates) after I upgraded from that a while ago to a LG Stylo 3+. It is fast enough, lasts all day with minimal battery run-down, and serves her needs well, aside from nagging issue with Google's Ad Choices popping up full screen ads at random. I have not been able to find a way to suppress them, and wife is very annoyed with these frequent interruptions (including a noisy 6:00AM pop up ad before normal wake-up time!). Not sure if this results from one of the few apps we added, or is built into the stock Android 8 and apps that came with the phone (aside from system update pushed by AT&T right after we activated the phone).

Nice budget smartphone

OK if you don't care about streaming video.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The extremely tinny, this audio was a deal-breaker for me. It was hard to listen to, scratchy and screechy. Very annoying. Otherwise feature-rich with latest Android version, fair amount of memory, and good call quality. Just don't listen to youtube or music MP3's using the built-in speaker. Like nails on a blackboard. Blood curdling.

The external speaker sucks!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fingerprint is awesome and works well, one of the main reason I got it my girlfriend can no longer unlock my phone, as far of how it operates it's up to par with it's competitors, stock notification sounds arnt great. Honestly if it weren't for the fingerprint Id chose the Samsung express prime personally.
