Last microsoft device, awesome phone for this price. U may not get all apps but majority of the essential apps are present in marketplace. Go for it if its in ur budget.

I bought this phone on sale at Best Buy for $30, It is a great phone for that price. Decided to stay with Windows phones for now due to some Android updates being "buggy" and draining resources on some of my other divices (Nexus 7 Tablet). With a 5" screen & Gorillia glass, it is a very decent phone. Camera is not bad. Also, this phone can be easily unlocked if you do NOT boot it up with the ATT sim in, and request an unlock from ATT as a Non- AT&T subscriber ...( do a Google or Bing search for Slickdeals, Lumia 640). Not as many quality Apps available as there are Android apps, but For basic phone functions, free wifi, built-in FM Radio feature and checking email, this phone works Just Fine. JVB in Bend , OR

i purchased 2 of the nokia 640 pre paid phones for christmas for 2 family members.i myself have a 2 year contract phone lg 3.to be honest i would rather have this phone compared to the contract phone.thinking of going prepaid with the low monthly payment of umlimited service.

This phone has everything and the camera is also very good. I sold all my andriod phones and am very happy with this phone. I bought few more for family. Only negative is Windows OS. But if you are a person like me who just needs the basic apps, this is the phone for you.

This Lumia's price is cheap but it has an incredible performance. Is there any smartphone like this? Nobody can find the smartphone which has a cheap price and good performance enough to use without any problem.

Phone is great! Has everything you need out of a smart phone. Bought 4 for the whole family and still paid a third of the price of one iPhone. Just waiting for Microsoft to release the windows 10 update for it.

Purchased this phone as a filler phone but this phone is really nice, light weight, easy to use and definitely value for money. If you are looking for a good camera, it may not be of highest quality but serves the purpose. Touch screen is really nice and works perfectly

I like window phone very much. My first one was Lumia 521 and now I upgrade to 640. The phone has right size, very responsive. I can find all apps I want in window store (who needs millisons apps?). The map is pretty good and I use it a lot for driving direction and don't find anything wrong. Camera can take decent picture though I don't use it for serious photo (You better use DSL). With midrange specification only cost $30, that is a dreaming deal! If you want to have $600+ or $700+ phone doing same or similar function as a $30 phone, then go ahead to contribute your money for these companies.

I couldn't have asked for a better deal when I bought Microsoft lumia 640, on thanksgiving weekend for $29. For the price, it's the best phone . It performs all the functions of a smart phone and I'm very satisfied. In august of 2016, it upgraded to windows 10, which again is much better than windows 8. This upgrade has slightly slowed it down but it's not something that affects the performance a great deal. The storage being only 8gb was something of concern to me, but the ability to add an sd card up to 64gb has made up for this deficiency. All in all I'm very happy with the phone.

I picked this on BF for 29.99$ which was a great deal. This is a feature rich phone for the price I paid. Has all the features of a high end phone without the steep price. I would definitely recommend this.

For all of you guys don't want to spent e lot of money this is a very good phone with a Q4 processor and 1gb ram and 5 inch screen who make it a very nice phone

I bought and unlocked it to use for T-Mobile. I also upgraded to beta Windows 10 and it works so well. There were some hiccups in the beginning with Visual Voicemail but later on Microsoft fixed it by upgrading the software. I put aside my IPhone 5S and use this one because it synchronizes so well with my Surface Pro. Strongly recommended. I told my friends and relatives and 4 of them switched and all are happy. By the way, there are more apps everyday.

This phone is one of the easyist to use and configure. It replced my Lumia 521 which is a good phone but does not the addional features of the 640.

This phone is definitely worth the money. I upgraded to Windows 10 and am very happy with the purchase. The only thing that is that it doesn't have any Google apps. It is very responsive and works well. I would definitely recommend this phone.

I bought this phone on Black Friday deal for just $30. Its a nice, easy to use phone including a good camera. However, with windows store the choice is limited, I don't care about downloading so many apps on my phone, so it works great for me.
