I bought this phone through a "Deal of the day" offer and it's just the best you can get for the price.

This phone doesn't seem like it'd be a good phone to do everything from business work to entertainment, but for the price point, it excels expectations by an enormous margin. Windows Phone OS doesn't get the attention it is due; Yes, the app ecosystem is underdeveloped, but it makes up for that in security, UI uniformity, smooth operating with minimum hiccups, even on low amounts of RAM, and the continuity of UI elements between all Windows platforms. This phone is eligible for the Windows Insider program, so it you don't feel like waiting for the official release of Windows 10 Mobile to be pushed to an OTA update, you can get it. Overall, this phone is the best phone you can get for less than $50, as it doesn't come with the common pitfalls most budget phones come with. I would recommend it to anyone oha heartbeat.

Got it for my husband's 1st smart phone. I have a Lumia 635 and would love to upgrade to the 640. It's larger and has a better camera than mine.

This is a great phone to hold and use. Windows 10 Mobile is pretty good. Love the interface and tiles. However, the apps are lacking, especially native gmail, hangouts, youtube - all apps that I rely on. Hence, I gave it to my son to play with. I went back to my good old Nexus 5. It's a great phone for $30 if you can live with the lack of mainstream apps. It also needs a good eBooks reader. What I saw on the store were horrific.

Since this is my first upgrade to a semi 'Smart Phone' I can't be a valid critic in the sense that I can compare to I-Phone or Nokia etc. however, i am enjoying the clarity of the screen and the tech support very much. The screen keyboard does not work that well for me as I prefer a more tactile interface so that I know that I am on that key. But my typing is less than excellent so, as I said, I am not worthy ,,, :-)

I got this one for each member in my family as a back up phone. The hardware is the best except lack of apps in Windows OS. Best value on ROI.

This phone works really well considering the cost of only $29.99. Fast, light and takes decent pics compared to my IPhone 6. I was a little skeptical at first but at that price, I had nothing to loose. Great back up phone as you can unlock it by going to the att website. It will be great for when I travel outside of the US. Definitely recommend this phone.

The phone is just awesome for the price. The screen quality is good and the Windows OS is fast, smooth and the 1 GB ram on this helps a lot.

There is no better phone available in this price range than Lumiia 640. Fast internet browsing. Decent rear camera in good light .

Bought the phone for $32.00. I feel its a good phone for that price. The Camera stopped working for after I put the SD card. but this started working after a couple of days. Not sure what the problem was. The screen response is good and battery lasts longer. Yes, there are not many apps on windows but for $32 bucks I think its worth it.
