Purchased this phone as my spare phone and so far i haven't had any issues with it.

This phone is great and can be updated to windows 10 even better then before large screen.

I got this one for thanksgiving. Upgraded to windows10.looks good. Very much recommended.

I bought the 640 to replace a too small and too slow Lumia 520. I wasn't expecting much for $35, but it's really nice. The size is actually bigger than I thought it would be, and it's just right. It's speed is a big improvement over the 520 and is good for my use.

Its a great phone for its price. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Not the best smartphone like iPhone, but considering it's price, i say go for it

As an android users, I am very trained to look for specs. When I looked at this phone, it appeared to have good specs and a nice look as well. I got the phone and started playing with it but realized that Windows Phone has not come as far as I thought it would have since I last used it. Downloading apps is virtually non-existent. It's crazy that in this day with so many apps that Microsoft's app store is still so terrible. When you open the YouTube app, it literally opens the web browser and goes to youtube.com. After realizing that this device was essentially only a phone and web browser, I ended up returning it. Maybe in the future if there comes a time when we can install iOS or android apps on a windows phone, I'll buy it again. Until then, I'd stick to Android or iOS if you want to be able to use your phone to do things besides calling, texting, and browsing the web.

I picked this phone up when it went down to thirty for black Friday. It was a fantastic value. If you just need web browsing, calling, and texting from a wireless device this is a great go to option in this price range. If you need anything else like specific apps or a good YouTube player, this wont fit your lifestyle.

This phone has all the features of my last phone, but with a much better camera.

It is a good mobile for that particular price and Microsoft has done good job.

This is by far the best bang for the buck phone out there. The hardware is amazing and windows is actually really snappy. The only drawback would be the lack of apps that android and ios offers. I bought it for my parents and this works out amazing!

Good smart phone works with AT&T and H2O only. In starting range it is good option.

Hands down the best value in cell phones. Initially the plan was for the Lumia 640 to be primarily a back-up for my iPhone 6 plus and in-between a media/game device for my daughter. More and more I am finding myself using the 640 as my primary due to its superior incoming calls/texts announcing capabilities. If you will be using the phone for mainly communication then purchasing this phone is a no brainer. Pros: Option for incoming messages and phone calls to be read aloud for a 2nd to none hands free experience. When receiving a call it will play your selected ringtone then announce the caller ID. When receiving a text message it will announce that you have recieved a text message from " " and ask if you want it read aloud or ignore it... If you chose for it to be read aloud, you will be given the option to reply by speaking your message. Paired with a bluetooth headset is my ultimate setup which allows me to answer calls and text all day without compromising privacy, all without ever touching my phone. iPhone will only read my texts after I have asked Siri to do so, and there's no option to ignore any when she does... She'll go through the entire message list and read them all aloud. Android can do it through a 3rd party app but not announce caller id or give reply option. LG specifically will announce caller ID and texts but will not give option to reply. Cons: App selection... No SNAP CHAT! And a list of others that was a deal breaker for my wife. Front camera is weak... Oovoo worked 10 times better on her LG G3. So if you are wanting a phone to use as a phone then I would highly recommend it. For the price everyone should pick at least 1 up, if not 2 or 3. You could always keep a handfull charged and in your living room for company to play games or brows the internet. As long as WiFi is available then you are all set, no need for a sim card or cellular plan... Just use it like a tablet. Also makes a good pocket camera or voice recorder since it has an EXTERNAL MICROSD CARD slot!
