It is a really cheap phone and I bought it because I was going to use it for no more than 1 year. It turned out to be really good and I am still using it but I would suggest if you want to buy it then buy it as a temporary phone

I love windows phones this one is great not as many gizmos as Android but I don't need to count packets in the emails I get! And snap chat? Nah. It syncs with my laptop and desktop, it's a no brainer

came across this on sale and was impressed by the reviews and the price. The biggest complaint seems to only be the windows app store, but it appears to have the most common stuff. I got this as a back up phone so I havent used it too extensively yet, but it is impressive so far. Really amazing how good smart phones have gotten that even at entry level price points, they are impressive.

The phone is more than adequate for my needs. I do not have a data plan, but find many options that allow me to do many functions I would not normally do. The screen is easy to navigate for a "non tech" person like myself. I enjoy using the phone.

I liked the phone and it has a great futures. However, it drops call frequently, kind of annoying. Sometime you get voicemail and text message the next day. Windows need to fix these problems.

Great phone for the price. 5 inch display battery life is awesome. Lasts for 3 days for a single charge with 4G on. windows 10 is awesome. i switched from my s4 to this and like it really well.

It's good for a cheap prepaid phone. It's got some lollipop issues, just like everything else with lollipop on it right now. Can't be rooted. Battery life is ok. Ended up using it as a music player to run Spotify, MP3's and youtube. 4 Stars.

The Lumia 640 is a great phone at an affordable price. Only down fall is a lack of popular app selection. Many great alternative apps make up for this.

Long battery life (easily 24h+ with normal use), very fast for such a low end phone. Also since OS is rare very low chance of malware and/or hacks.

I got this particular phone after losing two Android phones to the Stagefright trojan exploit. It was necessary to get a phone I knew would work and so far was unaffected by any hacks, exploits, viruses, or other afflictions. After checking several reviews, I settled on the Lumia 640. The phone is well-built, but the app store is barren, and the browser feels antiquated (No Firefox or Chrome, you're stuck with Internet Explorer, and the third party browsers aren't much better). Overall, it feels like a new phone from five years ago. But if you're concerned about security, why not go with the platform almost no one uses? After owning one, it's easy to see why.

Truly incredible value. Excellent camera. Runs Win10M great and the entire Windows 10 ecosystem. Glance Screen nice feature. Long battery life.

This phone was a cost effective replacement for broken Samsung. Pulled the AT&T sim from old phone - plugged in in new phone - followed a couple of new phone installation instructions and was up and running. The cost makes this a "disposable" phone with all the best features.

Despite of the long wait, I finally got the first 30 bucks smartphone in my life, unlocked with other carrier and worked as it should. This is the replacement of my gone Lumia 925 and It is WAY BETTER. The camera is good, 5" screen looks really nice, oh yeah 1 GB ram. performance is not as flawless as other high-end phones but it is pretty good for a budget phone. I used to to have a bad experience with budget Android and then Windowphone is the better option when comes to the budget phone. The on-screen button is a plus, I have no idea why people complaint about it, but to me, it turn out really handy. I can watch full screen without any distraction from the button light, double tap on the button to lock the phone off and double tap one more to wake the phone, and I can can swipe to hide/show it whenever I want. What can I say more? Get it! if you are fan or just need a back up for some basic needs. It is designed for you.

With 5" HD screen and 1 GB ram, this device rocks windows 10 :) I bought this as an upgrade to my Lumia 635. Definitely an awesome upgrade.

Bought for my daughter who broke her phone before she could upgrade.. she loves it. Says she can't download certain app like snapchat. And I love that LoL! If someone knows what to do to fix that I'd give it another star

It's unbelievable that this phone only cost $30. Windows runs like a dream on this phone. So long Android....

The Windows Lumia 640 is a great phone. The option to add a 128 memory card is great and virtually makes the phone into a small tablet. I'm glad I purchased this phone.

Great cellular for the price. Good camera and simple to use if you are familiar with windows
