Amazing phone for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, if you are wondering, the phone can be upgraded immediately to the current windows phone 10 via the windows insider app. It was very good before updating it, but I really like windows phone 10 better than 8.1. The current version is very stable (I think it is a release candidate/nearing release). I like the email app better, as well as the texting app and even the phone dialer. They are little things, but coming from Iphone/Android, windows phone 10 seems to feel more "natural" than windows phone 8.1. The screen/display is excellent (720p), especially at this price. It has a use replaceable battery, as well as an SD card slot. The only downside I have seen is a relative lack of apps. Most of the "big" apps are there, but lots of less popular apps are not available, which could be a deal breaker if there's an "essential" app that you can't find. Otherwise, I actually love the phone. The live tiles are very configurable. Apps work as expected. The bottom line is, you cannot go wrong for $30 (sale price). One more tidbit...the phone can be "unlocked" from ATT if you email them for the unlock code before you use the phone (or take out the SIM card before you turn it on). Google it for detailed instructions. It takes a couple of days to get the unlock code, but once it's unlocked, it can be used for other services (Cricket, other GSM services).
