The Lumia 640 outshines every smartphone under $100 and for people who use their phone for phone calls and texts, not games and apps, it provides 90% of the performance of the Galaxy S6 and Apple iPhone 6 for a tiny fraction of their price. I merely inserted my Cricket Wireless SIM and entered my Gmail address and all of my phone contacts and email instantly loaded. I downloaded my state's map which enables GPS navigation without using data or needing to be near cell towers. Voice calls are loud and clear on both ends, close to landline quality. The five inch screen is sharp and you can set the color balance and saturation to your preference. Music is loud and clear through the rear speaker but with weak bass. Music and Netflix movies sound fine with good headphones or Bluetooth speakers. The matte black case feels good in your hand and looks more expensive than the glossy blue or white backs on other versions of the 640. The combination of a sharp five inch screen and black case gives the 640 the appearance of a phone that costs four times its price. It is nicer looking than the iPhone 5c. Two drawbacks. First, there is just 3gb of memory for apps, games and maps. You can add a 32gb, 64gb, or even 128gb microSD card, but most apps and games and all maps must be stored in the 3gb of internal memory. The second drawback is that many popular apps and games are missing from the windows' store or the app has fewer features than on an Android phone. As a plus, Microsoft Office apps are installed so you can review and revise documents on your phone. The Windows 10 update expected in November will mean the phone will function as a twin to your Windows 10 computer and sharing files and tasks will be easy. For phone calls, texts, emails and Microsoft Office tasks, the Lumia 640 is an ideal phone. For games and entertainment, Android and Apple are still the leaders.

Great product at a great price! I bought this as a present and they love it! Decent speeds and the camera has a great resolution. I use it with wifi as well. AT&T provides great service so this phone gets good reception! Would buy again!

Needed a phone for international traveling. Not too worried about the limited apps with Windows based phones. Bought the phone and got it unlocked through AT&T and I now have a phone I can use while traveling outside the United States.

I liked the way bestbuy sells the phone at such a low start off price. Even the plan is good and all the features are great. Not even a single flaw in this long usage of the phone. I would strongly recommend this phone to others

This is very good basic phone, must buy a memory card. 8gb not enough. Speaker can be blocked if hand is in wrong place. Good way to avoid expensive contracts.

good reception for making/taking cell calls. that's the only reason i bought it in the first place. works where others can't. i don't CARE that it isn't android. it simply works! Tim Allen would like this phone!

I purchased this no contract phone due to the downturn in the economy. With my hours being cut and my pay not going up for eight years. I had to find a phone that I could trust to do what I needed it to do online.

I know windows app store is not that great, but this is a great phone for the price. Got this for my father and he very much liked it. Screen is very good, and you can easily get all the basic apps from the store.

My friend suggested me to buy this phone. And I personally think this is great choice for a second phone considering that not many applications arein the Windows store. Other than that it is just great

Screen resolution and color is excellent. To my surprise I'm able to delete all the At&t bloatware without rooting. Durability is also excellent. If you can live with a Windows phone this is the one to get.

You can't be disappointed with this phone.I got this one for 30 dollars. It has a great touch screen and very responsive.

The cell phone is good, but only allows to install limited apps in it. If you a game fun you will be disappointed about the storage space. BUT in terms of the price of the phone I have nothing to say.

I have the ATT Pay As You Go service. This phone works well with the service. Has all the smart phone functions and so far no problems with it. It is a Windows 8.1 phone. I like the Windows phone interface.

I had lots of hurdles to jump over after I bought this phone online. It wasn't clear about anything, from activating it to what you need to do to prove to ATT that it wasn't a stolen phone. I thought I had it all cleared up with ATT customer service and a week later I lost phone service. In total, I had to talk to customer service 3 times, and that was after the initial online activation that didn't work. Had it not been for all of this phone tag with ATT, I would have given it another star. Phone works like I was expecting it to after i put the time in on it.

Got this for $30! For this kind of price, this phone does so much more. Unlike Android, this phone runs smoothly on such a budget hardware because of good optimization of the Windows 10 Mobile software.

Decent phone, I needed a replacement phone and didn't want to spend $500+ buying one directly. The phone has a nice slim design, and many people mistook it for an iPhone. And the price dropped to $29.99

Bought this phone and unlocked for T-Mobile. I put win 10 mobile and it's snappy phone. Only down side not many apps for it. But then again I have a Android and this phone was for girlfriend
