I'm little disappointed to not have purchased extra devices at Thanks Giving price. At this price, there is not a better electronic item to gift your parents/relatives which is of great quality and extremely useful (Solid camera, Offline maps with voice navigation in local language). My wife and I are using this as our primary phone!

This is a great phone for my dad. Easy to use and it has large touch buttons. My dad learned the windows OS faster than the iPhone.

Got this to gift this to my mom in law who is using a smart phone for the first time. Its inexpensive and has everything a smartphone should have.

Bought this phone to replace my old Lumia 925 and it seems to work even better than that one, but for a far cheaper price.

I would recommend this phone to anyone. It's a decent phone for the price. It's a good phone if you want to use it as a primary phone or as a back-up. It's very easy to unlock. It comes with many languages so you can use it almost anywhere in the world.

If you are looking for no-contract phone with AT&T or its MVNOs, this is a good entry level phone with decent price and hardware. Also upgradable to Windows 10 Mobile when it comes out.

I use both iPhone and windows phone, recently I upgraded my Lumia 520 with Lumia 640. The phone is superior in every means. I still have iPhone which is my work phone. When I compare both phone, I like my Lumia 640. This phone make us happy. I was planning to upgrade from Lumia 520 to iPhone, After going through the reviews I decided to try this model. Thank God, I save hundreds of dollars. I love this phone. Thanks for the reviews, which helped me to go for this phone.

This phone has a vibrant 720p display, double tap to wake, a decent camera, loud speaker, and colorful shell options. The OS is fast, even with a low-end Snapdragon 400 processor. My biggest gripe is the lack of customization and apps. The tiles are nice, but they cannot compare to Android widgets. The phone is not very durable. I dropped mine once and the battery and back cover flew off. My screen shattered as a result too. Apps on this phone are also generic when compared to their Android and iOS counterparts. If apps are not a priority for you, then this phone will do the job.

This is the best smart phone at this price for basic users. Bought gifts during black friday sale. Functions are good and so is the camera. I would recommend

This is a good microsoft phone. That is hardware is good. It sure can be used as GPS too with nokia here free app and maps. I gave it as a gift.

First of all you should note that this is a microsoft phone and not an android phone and hence do not submit reviews based on the apps you can load on it. Review the core operating system and the hardware. For the price it is an outstanding phone, it is very easy to unlock and usable on any netwwork after unlocking. The touchscreen is brilliant and very responsive. the screen is 5" and that is kind of the right size, does not feel small or big. it is a good buy as a spare phone or as a gift!

best alternative smart phone for the money. it has all the features of the more expensive phones. great back up in between phone.

No complaints on L640. The best Lumia phone out there for budget buyers. Already bought 5 phones when the price was from 99$ and no regrets.

Recently purchased this phone and upgraded it to windows 10 and it is awesome. It's like having your laptop in the palm of your hand. I especially love the pictures that move when you view them.

Don't be a slave to contracts. Skip the I phone! This phone will do all you need . Instead of paying inflated contract prices. By this phone and enjoy very low monthly phone fees by just paying for the service only ! Why pay too much every month and be a slave to the Apple world ? This phone absolutely blows away my 5S iPhone. Never will I returned again !
