Tracfone customer for many years but dissatisfied with second level androids. This phone really is an improvement. Great screen, higher powered and much more intuitive to a PC user.

The phone is 30$, it is unbelievable that I can buy a good for this price. I could not find a smartphone for less than 100$ better than this one. The phone works flawless. Windows store lack of some apps, so I have this phone and an Android tablet to fulfill the app deficiency.

Bought it for my brother as a gift and he loves the phone for features for the price.

It's a great phone. Windows OS are so smooth and fast, no junk software. Highly recommend.

What isn't to like. I bought this on sale for 29.99 +tax, and who could complain. Not me, not this time. Well, waterproof would be good ;) I feel for all of you elitists that look down on people who buy these phones. You obviously have too little self worth, to enjoy something that could unite us.

Ok so I've had the S6edge and now have the Lg v10 both great phones. This phone however is Amazing, even if it was more money it would be worth it. Get use to the system and you're good. I got this phone for back up and find myself using it more than the v10! Just remember you spent $30 for it and you'll continue to tell people how shocked and excited you are about the Microsoft Lumia 640. Battery is all day if not more and plug in your headphones and you'll be shocked. As you can see I can't say enough. Don't hesitate any longer just buy it.

This is an amazing deal on a very capable Windows 8.1 GSM phone. Mine came with a GoPhone simm (which i won't be using) Many cool features. Great starter or backup phone to have around or for the kids. I bought some extras as gifts.

I got this phone when it was on sale for $29.99 on Thanksgiving. It has all the features you could want (HD 5" screen, 4G LTE). Using mine on H2O Wireless and paying next to nothing for LTE service. Upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile. Works seamlessly with my laptop. Even though Windows lacks some apps you can usually find the same functionality on websites.

For a 30 bucks phone, it is not bad at all. The only done side is a lot of app that I need are on the IOS or android operation system. Beside that the phone is great.

I am using Windows Phone for last two years, Lumia925. 640 in comparison is of course not that good, though for the price without any contract is awesome.All features, hardware and most things are similar. Best thing you can buy at this price.

Bought one for my mom and dad. Windows phone is very easy to use for older folks and the price to function ratio is amazing!

Not much to say except, great deal, good build, GPS, Fm radio, good colors, compact 5" screen size, lightweight but not too cheap of a build.

it is great phone for the price. i got it with thanksgiving sale. it has wifi, several apps, camera is okay. i have hard time getting back to home page. it does not have easy home button. if you can not afford for iphone or samsung, this would be awesome.

Amazing value for such phone, HD screen, removable battery and accepts external SD card. The only drawback is being a windows phone and it takes some good time to get used to the menu and settings.

Installed Windows 10 on this phone and it has transformed an average experience with 8.1 to finally a fully integrated Windows 10 work partner. For the price this phone has exceeded expectations.

I ended up purchasing two of them for different friends who had older Lumia phones in the same general product range. It's a huge step up from the Lumia 520 and 635. They've had no complaints. Seems to work with the Windows 10 preview very nicely.
