No Complaints!♡♡♡
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was an iPhone girl for years until I had the unfortunate experience of dating a psychopath who dared break two of them within the last year. (He is not around any more!) I've always been an AT&T customer on a family plan for as long as I can remember but after the last iPhone debacle I had to haul it to Metro PCS in a pinch and pick up a Galaxy Core Prime. Was not a fan of that phone. I used it until I was able to unlock it and return to my AT&T family plan; the core Prime became slower and slower and such a pain to use that last week, I had had enough. I went to Best Buy with a plan to pick up AT&T's almost identical, albeit pricier Galaxy J3 until Paul, my ever so helpful salesman sold me on the Galaxy Express Prime GoPhone instead. As a pre-existing customer I just pop in my AT&T SIM card, and my phone works as any postpaid phone would. The specs and details of the Express Prime and J3 are virtually the same, only the Express comes in black, the J3 in White. *Also if you do return this phone, there's no restocking fee for GoPhone! (Doubt many people need to worry about that tho!) ☆I love this phone... I recommend to anyone needing a great smartphone from a brand you can trust, without a $5-600+ budget. $129.99 for this phone and worth every penny. (It is a totally amazing user experience, worlds better than that Core Prime!) ...it just came out April of this year so the only bummer is the lack of cases and accessories to fit this model. Not a huge deal tho! ♡♡♡♡

Extraordinary Durability -- Toughest Phone Ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reception is excellent, it runs incredibly well (rarely ever freezes except for forced software updates) and you can get a decent performance out of the camera by experimenting with Android apps. But the real reason I love it is it still works after well over a year. I am exceptionally hard on phones. A day doesn't go by where I haven't dropped it. I've stepped on in a good number of times. But my worst phone fault is how many times they end up being submerged. Sometimes at the beach or the salt marsh where I'm always hiking around with the dogs, sometimes in the toilet of my very small bathroom when it's fighting with space for my makeup on the tank, a couple of times when I was washing the dishes. But last week, I topped myself. It fell in the water when I was foraging seaweed for a salad (yes, it's safe to eat the seaweed in Branford) and I don't know how long it was there before I noticed it, dotted with algae and sand and bits of gravel. Obviously, I've gotten good at the emergency procedure for this -- remove the battery, pull the sim and micro SD and plunge everything into denatured alcohol. Swish a lot. Soak briefly. Dry it out, preferably by airing. (The rice thing doesn't work -- when the phone revives that way, it means you waited long enough for it to dry on its own. An alternative if the water is clean is to stick it in a bag with those little packets of dessicant, presuming you ordered them online to have them on hand. But alcohol is quickest. Don't hit it with a blow dryer -- you could push the water further in. To dry it out a little quicker, I'd ordinarily put it in my dehydrator on the low setting (about 100F) but instead, I used my mid-sized shop vac. Not a good idea -- it could loosen a piece of solder -- but I needed the phone immediately for work and would have had to buy a new one to use while I waited. I could tell when it was dry inside because it stopped feeling icy cold from the evaporation. Of course the phone works better than before -- I think maybe it cleaned the speakers. It's funny. I used to spend all kinds of money on phones and laptops specifically marketed as 'Tough' that would die in the first few months, yet this little cheapie can't be killed. It has far exceeded my expectations -- I almost didn't buy this model because I prefer to have as few hardware keys as possible and this has a home button. I tend to wear them out and not all model phones wwork with soft button apps, plus, why design a phone with an extra seam that might let in water? But the buttons all work perfectly and the micro USB slot is nice and tight (which can be a problem with Samsungs). Presuming you don't get a factory lemon, I cannot recommend this phone's performance more highly. One more thing -- AT&T loaded surprisingly little crapware on this model. It's the first phone I ever owned that I haven't rooted in order to get those resources back. Why, you may be wondering, did I wait so long to buy this review, when the phone is on closeout and so hard to find? Because, my friends, I left it in the store yesterday and by 9 pm when the place closed they still hadn't found it. But they did today! Just as I was sitting here looking at this screen saying why oh why does Best Buy have to run out of my phone right now? Can't they see this phone needs me to live up to its full tough-guy potential? When I get an email saying they're back in stock, I might just pick up a spare.

Great value for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought that the read facing camera on this phone wouldn't result in good quality pictures but i was pleasantly surprised when I found out that I was wrong. The pictures that I have taken with this phone have looked just as good as ones from phones costing $400+. I have a few things that I would recommend. I would disable all the apps that you know you will never use. I would buy a screen protector because the phone is a fingerprint magnet. In closing, I would buy a case if you are the type of person to drop things.

"excellent phone for the price"
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased this phone for a family member and then I found out they already purchased one. I decided to keep the phone for myself (as a backup) and give it a try. After going thru the process of installing Nova Launcher. customizing the phone and taking a few pictures, I was so impressed that I have decided to make it my daily device. A steal for the price. I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone, looking for a budget price smartphone with somewhat flagship features and performance!!

Best ever Samsung device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really amazed with this phone. Since i'd very bad experience with first ever giant smart phone screen i.e., Samsung galaxy note(1), stayed away from Samsung products for about 4 years. Now this phone has really great battery. You may go for it and value for the money, also again battery is ultimate.

Love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always been a fan of LG for my phones and TVs but I am a new convert/fan of Samsung! Got the Samsung Galaxy Express Prime. Nicely designed: light-weight, sleek, smart enough and yet easy enough to use without having to watch a bunch of tutorials!

Pretty good.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got this phone today and I'm already loving it. Really loving the vivid screen and other aspects of it. Only downside was it was a pain to put my cricket sim in it when trying to get the at&t sim out first but I've gotten the hang of it already.

Good unlocked phone

Does what I need it to
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a phone that I would take calls on, text, check e-mail, listen to music over bluetooth, play a few apps and cost less than $100.00 bucks This does all of those things, I am happy so far. The screen seems strong and there are plenty of cheap cases available online. My wife is a teacher and she is able to do all of the "teacher" things she needs to do on it as well, IE: talk to parents, e-mail parents, text parents, ect (you get the point). Great budget phone, I do not think I'll ever go back to the flag ship phones as long as I can get good phones like this one.
