ringer is pretty loud. the bad it doesn't have vibrate feature so when you turn the volume off you got to keep checking your phone also when you get a text the notification it is really soft and short and you can't really here it. this phone is good for calling or receiving a call because you can here it if you want one for texting your better off getting a different type of phone.

This is a great phone if you need a flu phone. It's inexpensive and if you break it and need another one, it's not going to break the piggy bank to buy another.

It's really good simple phone. Feels good by knowing it will survive when I drop my phone by accident. And 2 or 3 days of battery usage. I miss my old nokia.

If you are in the market for a low cost phone with features of a more expensive product, you can't go wrong with the AT&T GoPhone. Camera works well and is easy to use. Sound quality and volume can withstand urban background noise. A good primary phone.

I purchased this AT&T prepaid no contract cell phone for my mother who did not want a smartphone and prefers the flip style phone for her own use. It paired up easily with the AT&T monthly pay as you go plan and she now has a phone that cost less than $25 for 3 months. I can renew her phone plan online so there's no need to physically go into the store and purchase prepaid phone cards. For such an inexpensive cell phone it's surprisingly has a number of decent features. There's a built-in camera and you can send and receive texts, and even surf the web. If you're looking for something basic this is the way to go.

After my wife broke her phone a few months ago, I bought this as a quick fix for her to have a phone till her line was due for an upgrade. It served it's purpose but to do anything other than make calls was too much to ask of it at times.

Basic Flip Phone - Does it's job!

This is a bit of a basic review (for a basic phone). This thing is a great 'burner' phone for people visiting from out of the country that don't want to get local sims for their smart phones. Call quality is decent, texts like a champ, and the battery lasts way longer than phones with wifi and huge screens.
