A good, reliable, no frills phone. Hey, we're basic people.

I bought 2 of these phones for my in laws to add them to my family plan without a contract. My in laws are in their 70's and just needed basic flip phones to use purely for calling. Their phones are accident prone, so I wanted a cheap phone, not under contract that can easily be replaced. These fit the bill perfectly, and it's not painful buying another $7-15 phone when they break or wash it. Set up was easy, after I remembered how to use a non-smart phone. I programmed all of their numbers for them and created short cuts to what they'd use most. The ringer is loud and the key pad is large, both which are great for mature adults. I took 1 star away and I was debating taking a second star away because you have no control over the text size. I went through everything on the phone including every sub folder, and couldn't find anything. The phone only comes wth a quick how to sheet, and text size wasn't listed. I even read the entire manual online, and it was never mentioned. You'd think a phone that has internet, email, bluetooth, and a camera would have an option to increase the text size for mature adults or visually impaired. From what I have found online, either the earlier versions or prior updates allowed the text size to be changed. With the current model there is no option to change the text size and it's something to consider if you're purchasing the phone for seniors. I'd recommend this phone for anyone needing a basic phone for emergencies or as a replacement for a broken phone and you're stuck under contract. If the phone is for an older adult or someone that's visually impaired, I'd consider other phones.

This is a good durable flip phone for basic use and so forth.

Small Screen, speaker quality not so good, but OK for the price. I only got this as an emergency phone, for a basic back up its ok.
