I guess for the money it will do. I got it for my wife but she is not that interested.

This phone tends to freeze up and is hard to answer.

Every time I am on the phone, my chin either hangs up the call or dials another number.

This is a good phone but I only use the basics such as texting and calling.

We use it when someone loose a phone for a while or breaks 1 for a while

This phone is slow. When you touch the screen it takes awhile to react.

Not the best processor but gets the job done. Overall an ok phone

Purchased as a back upain phone. Works well for what I need it for.

Bought this phone for my MIL for emergencies, txts, and watching her youtube. It was working ok for over a month but now it doesn't hold a charge and the battery / back gets REALLY hot. Not sure what is going on since the battery can't be removed. Guess you really do get what you pay for...

This phone works really well. I would rate it 4.5 stars, but I couldn't. This is my first smart phone and it's an excellent choice if you want it to do all the simple tasks while being a nice, fast smart phone.. I have a few issues though that I thought I would address (and that might have already been mentioned in other reviews). Hence the -.5 of a star. 1. The back facing camera (for selfies) is honestly terrible quality. You have to be somewhere very bright for it to be somewhat decent. But the front camera isn't bad. 2. It has a few glitches. The browser it gives you works at first, but after a few times of using it, it stopped working. I switched to Google Chrome which is also already downloaded on the device. It works well. Also, when you download a picture from a browser or website, it doesn't go straight to your photo gallery. As far as I know, you have to turn the phone off and back on to fix it and it will appear in your gallery. 3. There aren't many places that carry cases for it. I found some on Amazon, though for just over 10 bucks and it comes with a screen protector, cleaning cloth, and a stylus. Simply type in miniturtle ZTE Maven case and it will bring up a whole bunch of choices. 4. This isn't a big deal to me, but I bet some of you buyers would like to know that when the phone is tilted a little, the screen appears faded...kind of like when you look at an old calculator from an angle. It's not that bad, but I bet it really bothers some people. 5. The battery lasts ok, but I would love for it to last longer. But lately I've been using it for internet and I've been fiddling around with it because I just bought it a few weeks ago. So that may be the reason. Overall this phone is pretty amazing for the price. It's 4G which makes it very fast, the sound quality is great, and the ringtones are nice and loud, which is nice if you are in another room (I only say that because my old phone was so quiet, I missed most of my calls unless I was right by it.) Would I recommend this phone? IF you want something high-end like an iPhone....no. You'll have to pay the $500 or so. But if you want a phone just a step or two down from that, this is the one to get in my book. Seriously, you can't go wrong with this one if that's what you're looking for....40 bucks is a great deal!

The phone has very good performance for the hardware. The specs online state this as 1.5GHZ but it is actually 1.2GHZ. The RAM is specified at 2GB but is actually 1GB.

didnt expect much about this phone. i mean there's not much to say its just an android smart phone. gets the job done

Battery problems after 1 month. Not happy with overall performance.

I bought this as a cheap back up phone while my normal phone was being repaired (about 2 weeks). For the price it is a good phone, but if you are coming off of using any of the higher end phones (Note 2 and LG G3 my previous phones) this phone is very slow and laggy. The screen is okay and has limited space on it so you will not be able to add everything you had unless you put a memory card in.. Works great for $60 gap filler if you are waiting for a repair or for a contract to end. Perfect for beginners, will probably use as a workout mp3 player/some games from my son once I get my actual phone back

This phone is a really nice looking phone performance was OK until I added the sd card now it's much better I had a case on it and it affected the phone it said sign into a mobile network alot I ditched the case and now it works perfectly why have a case on a budget phone ZTE phones are coming into their own. Battery life is pretty good and you can see the display nicely in sunlight just turn the brightness up a little.

I got this phone because my Samsung Galaxy 5 is being sent back to the manufacturer to get the speaker fixed, so I needed to buy a go-phone as a substitute in the meanwhile. Yes, it is not as great of quality as a Galaxy or Iphone, but I am really impressed with this little phone!! I can do virtually the exact same things as my Galaxy, which my main concerns were texting, calling and tumblr. I would recommend this phone to a friend 100%!

Horrible phone works when i wants too cuts off and doesn't turn back on. freezes up
