I waited for a few days I'm using the phone before reviewing it. So far I have downloaded plenty of apps and a lot of music I've had it start to lag on me one time but all I had to do was turn it off and turn it back on like you have to do with all phones after installing so many apps. The phone is fast and very responsive takes good pictures and let's face it for the price there's no comparison. The two gigabytes of RAM really make a difference coming from a phone that had one. This is the only phone in its price range that has anything above 8 gigabytes of memory or 1 gigabyte of RAM. I strongly suggest this phone to anybody looking for a good phone and not wanting to spend 500 plus dollars.

I was looking for a replacement phone so I went online to bestbuy.com and found the ZTE ZMax 2. I read the reviews and decided that this will be the one so I went in the store to purchase it. Everything I was looking for and great price.

I was contemplating ditching my Windows phone due to various frustrations and decided to try this one out. After a few days of use, I was impressed with the physical feel of the phone, display quality, audio capabilities, and just about everything else other than the Android operating system, which has a lot of quirks. I found it difficult if not impossible to turn off vibrations and other notifications on various apps, and I could not get the on-board calendar to sync with my MS Exchange work account. That is a necessity for me. So I returned the phone and went back to Windows. If you like to use Android or are at least willing to give it a shot, this phone is a great value. Otherwise you may want to look elsewhere.

EXCELLENT PHONE WITH 16 GB ROM AND 2GB RAM AT THIS PRICE POINT. RUNS SMOOTH AND NO ISSUES.. CAMERA IS GOOD BUT NOT AS GOOD AS SOME SAMSUNG AND IPHONE BUT GETS THE JOB DONE. WORTH BUYING. WORKS ON AT&T,CRICKET AND H20 WIRELESS. ALSO.

I read all the reviews before buying this phone. It is really solid built and has some great features for the price. However I was disappointed in the reception in some areas, especially in the city where reception is no problem. Also I got a indicator saying I had a new text message and no new message and couldn't clear it. Was told that is common with Android and it eventually would go away. After a couple of weeks I decided to try the Windows phone and have been totally satisfied.

For a prepaid service it's a great phone for the price offered. Apps works fine and also very fast. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good but moderately priced phone.

This is a pretty good phone for the price,I got it on sale which is even better,has all the bells and whistles that the more expensive phones have.

It's a very good phone for the price range it is in definitely not a Samsung S7 but very adequate phone for General usage plays Pokemon Fein distant signal good communication with talk and text

Bought this phone for temporary purpose. This phone holds up good. Screen brightness is great and its fast. Camera is mediocre but does work.

I had lg g3 on a two year contract with at&t. Recently phone stopped working and at&t mentioned they cant do anything since its been touch with water. They showed me red dot indicator and explanation was nothing can't be done and only choice is to upgrade. That would have cost me hundred of dollars...i decided to go with zte max 2. I would say i am glad i bought this phone...all smart features with reasonable price of $59.99 from best buy. Only camera seems to be average. Someone who want to save money upgrading their phone...go for this.

In 8 months I've gone through 2 (about to trade in for a 3rd one) of these phones. For the price you'll have have a hard time finding a phone with a 5.5in screen and a strong possessor. Only problem with this phone is it is very glitchy and it gets worse as time goes on. Thankfully Best Buy has an excellent warranty so they will exchange you to a new phone as needed.

Works good. No major issues yet. Only paid 70.00 for it. Good size screen for the price. Volume works fine.

This phone is really great i picked it up for only $60 and is fast and has a good battery life, the screen isn't the best and the camera is not good but for $60 it does what i need it for.

Purchased this phone while waiting on a replacement for my own which had died a silent death. For the price cannot go wrong! Still keep the phone for WiFi only use on occasion.

I've had this phone for a while now and It was great at first but after the 14 days it started having issues. My signal for mobile broadband would turn off strangely and it would have no mobile broadband whatsoever when I have no problems with my account. Now there's touch screen issues where it does work but it won't exactly register that I actually pressed it and I have to go back and try again to get it to work. I reset it hoping it would fix the problem and it did for a day and now it's all messed up again. I don't know what else to do instead of return it and possibly get another phone because most of the phones I'm getting at best buy are somehow defective when I do take very good care of the phones. I haven't dropped the phone, I've been doing my best to keep it in good shape and I keep getting issues with the phones I buy. I can't say I don't recommend it or I do recommend it because it's an okay phone. It's fun to play games on and do what I usually do with my smart phones but I may just have to look for another that hopefully won't be defective again.

Great phone for anyone looking for a good phone at a reasonable price. These phones are almost impossible to root so if you're thinking of doing it you'd better choose another phone

I got 2 of these on sale and am pleased with what I can do with them for the money. I use mine for Internet and FB phone and for taking pictures. Has a great camera with many options.
