ZTE Zmax 2 is an excellent budget smartphone. Having used only high end phones, I was surprised how well it performed. The battery life is very good.

I purchased a pair of these phones for my parents, replacing their outdated iPhones. Got them on sale so I only paid a fraction on what would have costed me to get them new Apple products. The 5.5" display is great for elderly to read and the screen are not high definition as Retina displays which makes letters larger and easy to see. They are fast for common applications. With replaceable batteries and SD expansion makes this phone a keeper.

Price is cheap with most needed features. I bought this one as Gift for my sister. My sister liked this phone. Thank you. .

I use mine as a phablet. For less than $60 functions perfectly. Good specs great battery what's not to like

Easily unlockable from AT&T's site, very good performance w/ 2 gb of ram and a large screen (though only 720p). Navigating around the OS is pretty snappy and there isn't too much bloatware. Notification light is useful, and call quality is good enough. If you are concerned about storage, you can put in an inexpensive microsd card. There is an option to install most of the apps onto the external card, saving you some precious space. I would try and wait for it to go on sale for $59.99, but I think it is going to be discontinued pretty soon.

Compared to any phone in price range up to $150, this one is by far the best. Purchased 3 so far.

Great phone for the price paid. Much better than a Samsung prepaid I previously bought. Too bad cannot get LTE though.

16GB memory of which 11GB is available to use. Plenty for me. Excellent features on this phone.

I bought this as a temporary phone for my mother to use while visiting us from another country. I had it unlocked through ATT Device Unlock webpage with no problem. The screen is nice and vivid. Easy controls and interface. She loved it so much that she kept it and took it with her when she went back home.

Lots of features for a low price phone. Camera is sub par other than that, great screen size & battery performance.

I got this as a backup phone and have been really impressed by it! The response time is fast and the large screen is super easy to read.

Considering the price (I bought it on sale for $60), it's a surprisingly capable, if somewhat bare bones phone.

Great phone. Worth the price. Works really well even with a good amount of apps installed. Battery life is pretty impressive too.

Bought ZTE Zmax2 online for $50 as an immediate replacement. Shipment was lost by UPS. After I requested investigation, the phone was located in Texas and redelivered one week late. Nice 5.5 inch screen, camera is not sharp, only 720 video recording not 1080. Some of ZTE functions are not well designed, such as file manager, pdf downloads. Looking for better phone to upgrade.

It's a great phone, I really like it. Large screen and 4g LTE.
