Great Dependable Phone For The Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone Monday June 20th. And before I had the LG Phoenix 2 by at&t. While I did really enjoy that phone, it was a bit slow compared to the ZTE ZMAX2 phone. And I needed something faster. So anyways ZMAX2 is a great phone. Really great call quality I'd rate at a 7.5 to an 8 out of 10. Which is pretty hight in my book. People said they heard very clearly. And volume can get pretty high. There's 16GB of internal storage like the site says but just started up there's 9.98GB to user. Which is really good compared to other phones. I have a 32GB sdcard in the phone but that's mainly for pictures, videos, ect. Maybe an app or two if the app allows itself to be moved. A majority of them can't be moved. It has a 1.2ghz Snapdragon 400 processor with 2GB of ram and the phone very fast for me anyways. I love this thing. No break downs. No freezes. No crashes. Oh and gotta love that 3,000 mAh battery. Lasts a long time. I always use DU Battery Saver app. Works great in my opinion. Camera:I didn't realize this but in Manual mode there's 8 picture sizes. Which is SOO cool. The LG Phoenix 2 only has one resolution just 8MP. So that's great this phone has more of them. And the phone takes pictures very quickly. Also MMS video clips are capped at 40secs long. Video quality isn't amazing but it gets the job done. 720p recording is really good. Autofocus's very quicky. Camera quality isn't going blow you away but pictures look fine and decent enough. But not a bad camera by any means. Anyways if anyone wants to watch my full review on this phone go to my YouTube page Reaper2065 I havea 19 min review with a 2 min video test of this phone. Check it out. And ask me whatever questions you have on it.

Great budget/backup phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For $99 plus tax, this is a very good everyday use phone. Just ask yourself if you need those extra features from the flatship or not. If the answer is no, try this phone, the spec might not be the top rated. But with 2gb ram and 16gb memory, it is good enough for a daily task.

Not the best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not really satisfied with this purchase not worth the value. Freezes up often. Would have traded it in if I hadn't wasted more money on a case and screen protector which were ordered online.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great phone. Lovely screen, nice and bright. battery is awesome last 2 days easy. Has great speakers, nice loud speaker on back of phone. has dolby sound for music. I have come from samsung and sony phones and this by far my favorite even thought the screen is smaller than what im used to.

Great smartphone! Highly recommended!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My UNBIASED review...A little background: I've been an iPhone iOS user since it first launched in 2007 having purchased a new iPhone each launch with my last iPhone being the 6 Plus 64GB. Was browsing the deal sites and found this ZTE on sale for $80. Figured to give it a chance and if I like it I would sell my iPhone. If not, I can return the ZMAX 2...I sold my iPhone 6 Plus 64GB and kept the ZTE. Why after all these years? Great bang for the buck! That's why! I'll compare the cost of the Zmax 2 to the iPhone 6 Plus 16GB which sells retail for $649. I asked myself, is the iPhone really worth over $500 more? For me, absolutely not. What I love about the Zmax 2 is its sharp 720p screen and just as large as big as the iPhone 6 Plus at 5.5" It is fast and responsive! It takes really good photos and video(I work in TV Broadcasting so I know what good quality is). These were the most important factors for me switching from the iPhone and saving $$$. I am very happy with this phone as it is feature rich. I am still learning the Android OS but am getting used to it. What else I like about this Zmax 2 is you buy it and put in your own AT&T sim card or get it unlocked for other GSM providers. With AT&T now switching to either purchasing phones at retail or their month to month Next plans, this helped choosing the ZTE. I am very happy with this phone being fast, responsive, capturing really good photos and videos, surfing and viewing videos on the internet with its large 5.5" 720p screen! Icing on the cake is not having to deal with a monthly payment plan or taking a huge amount of money to pay retail for an iPhone or Samsung equivalent. I've had the ZMAX 2 for 2 weeks now and I am very happy with it and highly recommend it! Save your money! Hope this helps in your decision. :)

Vastly better than expected. Excellent phone.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone for $70, while it was on sale. I was expecting the phone to be a decent phone, but nothing impressive. To be honest, I've been pretty blown away. I got this phone after I broke my LG G3 and needed a cheap option to replace it. As it turned out, I've found that this phone actually doesn't feel like as much of a downgrade from my LG G3 than I expected. From the specs of the phone, I expected less. The camera is actually pretty good. (Obviously not as good as the G3's 13MP camera, but that's expected). It's the best 8MP camera that I've seen. In my opinion, it's pretty good. The video camera is ok. Not terrible but not very impressive either. The screen is also very good. The resolution is 1280x720... Nothing to write home about. At least, that's what I thought. It is excellent and I don't find myself missing the G3's higher resolution screen. It blows other screens in the price range out of the water. I briefly had a LG G Vista, which is about the same size. Although the size and resolution were about the same, the LG's screen wasn't even close. The battery life on this thing is also very good. For me, battery life is one of my biggest concerns. No matter how good a phone is, it's useless to me if it dies half way through my day. I use my phone a lot. This battery does the job. The speakers are very good. Honestly, I think they're better than my G3 that I had before. I would recommend this phone to a friend... In fact, I'm recommending this phone to my wife. Get one! Summary: Pros: Great battery life, great screen, solid camera, fast, awesome battery life, good construction Cons: Uh....... It's not as good as a $500 phone? It's a $70 phone... I'm not sure that's even a con. Uh...... Yeah I got nothin'

Great phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as an upgrade to the zmax that I had for over six months. Love the design of the phone and the big screen is a must. Had issues with Android 5.1 at first but updates resolved that issue. For a budget phone it's the best I have owned. No complaints

Phone loses the wireless signal frequently
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone loses the signal very frequently (within seconds). It will then show "Emergency calls only". I noticed this problem 20days as soon as I got a SIM card from a carrier. Unfortunately, BestBuy refuses a refund because phone was bought 21 days ago!
