Picked this up for my wife's older aunt for use where she lives. It has a nice big display and the keys are larger and easier to read. It is a very good corded phone for those with vision issues and technology hampered as it is a phone like we have used for the past 30 years. It doesn't have to be setup - it is plug and use.

It is a very basic phone. Exactly what I needed and does its job just fine.

I didn't need the caller ID or any of the other stuff on the back, so I just never put the batteries in it. I can't say how well that part works. But the call quality is good.

Needed to install a landline for a very elderly person in an assisted living building. This was the best I could find for such a very low price. Good volume and easy to see keypad.

Yes, we have a landline to carry our DSL and for the telemarketers to troll (guys, we're still on the Do Not Call Registry, btw). Old phone gave up the ghost, hence new phone. Buttons on the outside of the handset are awkward; can inadvertently press buttons just by holding it.
