Bought for my mother. Works fine, only complaint would be that the screen is not illuminated so it is hard for her to see.

I wanted a phone with caller ID for the garage. It needed to be wall hugging to avoid being accidentally bumped.which eliminated all the cordless phones I found. I also wanted it to have crisp and clear sound quality. This phone perfectly fit all these needs. The caller ID is very visible without removing the handset from the hook switch.

A good basic corded phone. Easy to operate and use.

I have had 5 of these phones throughout the years and they are great, especially to be hung on a wall.

We needed a plain, basic phone for my mother-in-law. This one worked perfectly, was easy for her to use and was an excellent price. Very happy.

Is great for elderly people, and is easy to use. It's has different ringer volumes and the sound is very clear.

Basic landline phone. Pros: inexpensive, caller ID, easy to use. Cons: display is not lit, makes it difficult to see in the dark.

This is as close as you can get to an old style phone when you don't need bells and whistles.

It's a corded house phone that also provides you caller id. phone cord too wall is a little too long if you plan on hanging the phone. Would be nice if they have included a shorter cord, too.

This phone did what I needed it to, no complaints: sound was good, easy to use, not as many features as other phones, but that should be obvious to anyone looking for a trim-line phone.

When all you need is a simple phone that does its job without any bells and whistles you can count on this simple classic wired phone..

This phone is not the easiest to use. The caller ID faces away when in use and it doesn't have the usual features of most phones, but it works OK for basic communications. As it is inexpensive, we can't expect it to compare to high end models.

I got this telephone for my Mom and she is very happy with the telephone it works as described ,and also I got it on sale ,very good price !

This phone was bought after we got a surge to the entire house and we lost several of our electronic devises including our dishwasher. We aren't sure how or even when it happened. So now we are still replacing items and making sure that everything is protected from this ever happening again. Most people don't realize just easy it is to have this happen to anyone without the use of surge protectors on all electronics...

I realize landlines are going the way of the dinosaurs in this cellular, VOIP and social media new world. However, I didn't think I'd get a stinker this bad when searching for a simple wall phone with caller ID. This thing is terrible. First, although it's wall mountable, they provide no short wall cord in the box. You have to wrap the single long cord around plastic tabs recessed in the body to wall mount. Next, no backlight. The thing uses four AA batteries (not included, of course) but doesn't have a backlight. The LCD is hard to read in anything other than optimal light. Next, sound quality is abysmal. I heard not one, not two but at least three different variations of noise on the line. One was random static, another was a constant high pitched whining sound and another was a recurring warbling sound whenever the person on the other end spoke. I'm going to take this stinker back and try one more time before giving up on it completely. As bad as this phone is, I'm assuming it absolutely must be defective. If the second one is any better, I will update this review in fairness. If you're reading this line, it means this is still the original review and the second phone was just as bad as the first.
