I replaced my previous Victoria turntable with this Audio Technica turntable. This record player has a lot less downforce and because of this, your records will suffer less. However any vibrations or bumps to the record player/table will move the needle and cause skips. So tread lightly. The plastic cover scratches easily, so unless you plan on keeping a record on the turntable all the time, and want to keep dust from getting on the record it’s best to leave the cover off.

Nothing sounds as good as a record, this is a small but powerful player.

When I decided to add a turntable to my sound system, Audio Technica was my logical choice because my earlier system had an Audio Technica turntable. It did not disappoint.
