Not for audiophiles but 5 stars for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a basic turntable but it’s good quality and sounds pretty good, if you’re into analog sound for nostalgic reasons or whatever. My 19 yr old daughter actually got this as a birthday gift, it’s all she wanted. Isn’t it ironic that a few decades ago when digital music was just breaking onto the scene, everyone wanted CD’s, we were so thrilled to have static-free music that sounded so much better than vinyl or tape. Then it was DVD audio with its multi-channel stereo and superior sound reproduction. Now we have lossless streaming digital audio with Atmos sound processing *in freaking headphones*.., and in Tesla’s, and a few other cars I think, but my kid says she *likes* the static, and I now had a reason to teach her what “wow and flutter” means, a foreign concept to most people under 30. Actually, I’m surprised so many people want to listen to vinyl, I don’t personally get the hype. But I can appreciate the value and quality of this very decent entry level turntable. My only real “gripe” if there is one, is that the buttons feel hollow and pretty cheap, if I’m being honest. But this is entry level, so I’m happy with the overall quality considering the low price. It’s far better than the first one I bought her which was an off-brand Amazon 4.5 star rated unit with speakers that was incredibly disappointing.., daughter thought it was “perfect” but it was like nails on a chalkboard to my ears. So, being the concerned father I am, I sent that one back (with her permission, of course) and replaced it with this unit and a powered 2.1 channel speaker/sub set (it’s in her bedroom) because I believe everyone should develop an appreciation for high fidelity sound. She’s very happy with it and that makes me happy. Would I recommend? Yes, if you’re on a tight budget or a non-audiophile type. Just don’t expect it to impress with tactile feedback; the buttons are noisy and cheap feeling. But it’s easy to use with one button play and the mechanism is solid. Just skip the stuff on Amazon and go with this one.

Awesome Turntable for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve wanted to purchase a turntable for a really long time. I grew up listening to records and this was a great purchase. It was super easy to set up and start playing records. I’m glad this had a dust cover and the adapter for 7” vinyls as well. I currently am using a Bluetooth speaker and the quality is great. Anyone on the fence on this turntable, it exceeded my expectations.

Love that vinyl !
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to setup and connected to my Bluetooth quickly. The old vinyl collection that I haven’t played in years never sounds better spinning on this turntable. I love it and the price was great. No fancy bells and whistles. Just sitting back and now getting to rediscover all my old music again.

Amazing player
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by stating first, the reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5 is because as great as these are, to really feel the music u need to buy a pre-amp device. Otherwise u have to listen to it threw line which kind of defeats the purpose of it and they dont tell you this anywhere. That being said, i just started getting back into vinyl. I actually purchased TWO of these systems. One for living room and one for bedroom. Without the pre-amp, they sound amazing, just have to crank the volume up. Its very easy to use and ensemble. I was debating between this and the 200 sony one. But after reading the reviews and comparssions, people said they pretty much give the same sound. The sony has blutooth tho (which again, digitizes the music so defeats the purpost). So i got 2 of these for the price of one of those. If you are getting into vinyl or want too, i would deff start with these. I have it hooked up to a onkyo system and the other to a yamaha system. I tell you, im so glad i purchased these and i look forward to enjoying vinyl again.

Great Quality for the Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted to be able to play old and new vinyl, but didn’t want to break the bank. This turntable did the trick. After get muting burned by another turntable that actually scratched some vinyl, it’s a relief to have a turntable that I can trust. I plugged it into my existing sound system which I honestly haven’t used in years. Now it’s my preferred mode of listening to music again. Only downside is now I’m spending a fortune on vinyl, which is a lot more pricey than in the 80’s!!! Set up was also relatively easy. This version doesn’t have Bluetooth capabilities, but there is a slightly more expensive version which does. My friend got that one (after I raved about this one) and he loves it as well.

great upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great sound, great quality. easy to clean. easy to assemble. easy to connect to bluetooth speaker. Not a fan of the mat that comes with so I got a cork one. If you sit close to it, you can still lightly (almost like a whisper light) hear the music playing. if you're upgrading from a suitcase player then this is the way to go. Doesn't scratch my record or table.

For newcomers to vinyl this record player is great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a really good record player for people just getting into Vinyl, not too cheap and not overly expansive. You can hook up your own speakers or use any bluetooth device. I sometimes like listening to vinyl with my bluetooth headphones as not to disturb anyone. This record player is also all mechanical as in you dont need to balance the counterweight, or fiddle with anything. It just works out of the box so for new enthusiasts to vinyl you can just hook up and play. The inly downside i can see is that you cant change your cartridge, but you can change the needle (it should last about 10,000’ish plays). So overall at around 250 for what i payd for it it’s completely worth it.

Combines Easy Playback of Records With Great Sound
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best value I could find for an automatic turntable. Audio Technica knows what they're doing, and has made a very simple but very good sounding player. I've been using it to transfer a bunch of vinyl albums to digital files, and it's been working flawlessly. I used to have a Technics turntable many moons ago that was not automatic, so you had to balance the tonearm, adjust the counterweight, set up the anti-skate, and all of that hoo-hah just to listen to your records. Oh, and you had to carefully lift the tonearm and gently lower it to the vinyl surface. When the record side was finished, it just sat there endlessly grinding away at the end, skipping back every rotation. Who needs all of that? This turntable does everything for you. After placing the record, you hit the Start button, and it plays the whole side. At the end, it lifts the tonearm and stops the record. There's no counterweight to mess with, no anti-skate setting, or any other adjustments. It just works. I've transferred about a hundred albums so far, and I'm very happy with the sound quality and ease of operation. I realize that some people love the whole process of playing each side manually, but I'm not one of them. This turntable does an excellent job of handling playback tasks while delivering very good sound. It's a home run as far as I'm concerned. So if you're intimidated by the technical aspects of setting up and using a fancier turntable, this one is a great option that lets you just play and enjoy your records with minimal fuss.

Hidden gem due to an uncommon feature
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LP 60x is a revamp of the previous LP60 bit audio technica. The parts included in this device are lightweight but appropriately selected for a record player. The belt-driven system combined with the aluminum platter help with reducing vibrations and the included felt platter cover is a great vibration reducing inclusion. The automatic system is effective and works 100% of the time that I've used it. It is extremely easy to use and sounds very good regardless of its lightweight stature. The tone arm is a spring weighted system and the cartridges and audio technical cartridge. This device can play 45s and 33 and 1/2 speed records. Thoughts: when it comes to hi-fi equipment most people do not think that a $100 turntable would be considered audiophile grade by any stretch of the imagination. And in most scenarios they would be 100% correct. most turntables around this price point have a built-in phonographic pre-amplifier so they can be used with any stereo system. This turntable actually has the ability for you to bypass the internal phono preamp and use your existing receivers preamp. That means the only thing that affects the quality of note would be the cartridge which in this is a very high quality moving magnet cartridge. Granted it's not a project or a marantz but because you are not using the internal pre-amplifier if connected to a very high quality system as in my case a marantz SR-8012 you can get extremely high quality audio that is full of life out of this turntable. I paired this with the Garth Brooks legacy collection and when I turned it on and closed my eyes the wall fell away and I was in a concert. This is a phenomenal investment that I highly recommend anyone make whether you are new to the audio world or an experienced audio file.

High quality turntable using bluetooth
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent quality turntable and it has bluetooth as well! Save your time and anxiety and buy a quality record player. This was a birthday gift to my daughter. I had purchased two other record players with speakers built in, but they had issues. The first one played records too fast and all the sounded like Alvin and the chipmunks. The second one played songs too slow. This one is just right and provides a really nice level of quality. It was more expensive than other brands, but it's well worth it. I think that this turntable could be used for many years. We hooked it up to a bluetooth speaker and the sounds quality is superb.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not a tech person at all. That being said, it made buying this turntable the perfect choice! I read reviews on this that said it was super easy to get hooked up and they weren't kidding. MInutes if that! I've got it bluetooth connected to a little speaker I have. And to play and album you just push the start button it that's it. Once the album is done the needle returns to the base on it's own. If I choose to stop listening mid-album you just hit the stop button and the needle lifts and returns to it's base. Couldn't be any easier! It's doesn't take up much space and it looks nice. I highly recommend this!!

Obsessed
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loooove this! My fiancé and I are very new to the record world so after researching and reading a countless amount of reviews we decided on this record because we read that it’s a really great one for beginners! You will definitely need to buy speakers of some sort for it, we didn’t have any so I actually just ended up using my JBL bluetooth speaker and it works so great with it! It was really easy to set up and I can honestly say that I have 0 complaints. I love the sleek design, it makes it easy to decorate around it and you can honestly place it anywhere and it’ll look great.

Great Bluetooth Turntable
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great value for a good turntable. Recently reviewed in the DMN as a good value for nice sound. This turntable has Bluetooth capability, and I have paired it with 2 different Klipsch speakers with great results. It has remembered the pairings after being turned off and restarted at a later time. It was easy to assemble, and the pairing was not too difficult. If you are looking for Bluetooth capability with vinyl, this is a great buy.

Buy this, not a suitcase record player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little hesitant to buy this turntable at first because of the negative reviews about it skipping and some not even getting it to play but I have had zero issues with the setup, I hooked it up to a couple insignia bookshelf speakers I purchased at Best Buy at the same time and it sounds fantastic. If it gets shaken even a little it will skip, like when I’ve walked too hard and too close to the table its sitting on it skips a few seconds but I think that’s more my fault because I have it on an end table that’s not really well balanced. If I’m not near the turntable its fine so I know its me and will be putting it on a more stable platform in the next few days so I’m sure I’ll have absolutely no problem then. I should also mention that I had been using a Crosley Deluxe suitcase record player prior to buying this and if you’re still using one of those or are debating between whether to buy one of those for $40 or spend the extra coin on this one, don’t even think about it and buy this one. I have run speakers that cost 4 times the amount of the Crosley on it and it doesn’t matter, the difference between this one and the Crosley is night and day. This sounds amazing, still has that full sound with just a slight, barely audible crackle of vinyl, whereas the Crosley is kind of a mess. Even on great speakers it just doesn’t sound right, where this one sounds gorgeous on a pair of $70 speakers. If you’re looking to get into vinyl, committed the sin of buying a suitcase record player, or you just want a turntable without killing your budget, this is the one to get. As a side note, some very minor setup is required, but nothing crazy. Basically just attaching to the belt to the motor, but it takes 3 seconds. You won’t regret it.
