Returned (nonfunctional) turntable sold as new
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When the package arrived, it was apparent this turntable, though sold as new, previously had been returned, what with all the "Inspected by Best Buy" tape sealing it. Whoever inspected it, however, didn't do a particularly good job since it didn't power on. Not terribly thrilled.

On the first one, I delayed past the return window. This model used to work beautifully, but twice?! I'm switching to Sony

I was sent a 2nd from the company and the sound was muffled. The turntable also could not adjust to volume. At the lowest volume on my receiver, the muffled music blared out. I have great speakers, so that's not the problem. This turntable must be a lemon, however I would not buy another. Spend the money on a better turntable. I have a Sony system and that's what I'll buy. I was told this was compatible with any system. Just garbage!

The description was excellent condition and the item was scratched in many spots. It looked like someone dropped it in the street. The turntable was in pieces and not packed back up correctly.

Thought it was going to fall apart when I pushed buttons. The belt drive had a drag in it so that effects the music obviously. I returned the next day.

This produced terrible noise, static and hum. I very quickly returned the unit. Additionally, it is primarily made of cheap plastic.
