For 8 years, I had the earlier version of this turntable. When it developed a problem that was too expensive to fix, I opted to buy the new model. This is truly a best buy.

I upgraded my AP60 and the difference is huge. if you're slightly interested in collecting records or if you've got at least a 5.1 speaker system buy this.

Being somewhat older than dirt, I have over 400 LPs, and when I upgraded my AV receiver, and my old idler-driven changer had had it, I knew I had to have something new. This unit is exactly what I wanted. There's something just plain cool about an audio quality turntable. It's incredibly simple, and yet it must be incredibly sophisticated. This unit has it all. It just plain LOOKS and HANDLES cool! You need to make sure you know what you're getting. It has a dampend lifter/lowerer for the tone arm, but aside from that, it's pure manual. You have to position the stylus over the groove, use the mechanism to lower it, and then go lift it off at the end of play. The performance is magnificent. I have a powerful receiver and real 15" and 12" woofers (not small, trick subwoofers) and surround sound, and if this thing had one iota of rumble or speed variance, I would hear it. It has none. It's perfect! What it does is, it gives me back my LP collection, and I am amazed at how fine the sound is on most of them. I attribute much of this to the top-line Audio-Technica cartridge and elliptical stylus. I use a cosmetic brush I found at Walgreens to dust out the grooves, and I can even use the backwards spin capability to dust them out both ways. Cool! MINOR QUIBBLE: The spring loaded feet are equally sprung, but with the massive motor located toward the left front, the unit sags that way and I had to shim it up with an old cell phone battery. It's now in place on a rack I custom-built to hold it behind my big flatscreen, and it performs perfectly. If you have LPs and want to hear them as best as you can, this is the right choice.

It was easy to install and was up and playing my vinyl in no time at all. I have a collection of old 78 rpm records and I am now able to enjoy them once again.

This is an excellent turntable. The only fault I found was that after playing only 2 of my old 78RPM records a new cartridge was required which I was not warned about.

Delivered in existing box with picture and label of item, so if this is going to be a surprise for someone please take note. In other words, it was not put inside a brown packaging box with any bubble wrap. Other than this, the product meets all expectations and consistent with the reviews I read.

This is a good turntable but the platter is slightly warped, which a review or two mentioned as a problem with Audio Technica turntables. When you hit the tonearm 'raise' lever, it is not damped and lifts quickly and sometimes it bounces. Lowering the tonearm is well damped and moves slowly down... good.

This table is a nice "in-betweener" for those who demand high quality audiophile equipment. The tone arm balance and anti-skate are must haves that are no longer available on lesser priced tables and the ability to go into the phono jack vs. and aux jack is a must as well.

The Audio-Technica Professional Turntable is great for preserving your vinyl music collection by converting it to mp3. Then you can convert from mp3 to another form.

Many enthusiasts complain about the new versions of the Audio-technica Turntables but I have had no issues with mine, audio quality is great and I couldn't be happier.

I always wanted to restart an album collection and listen to some great sounding music and this turntable was a great one for that goal. Works great, sounds great!!!

Wasn’t sure what to expect as there were plenty of other products more expensive but for the casual listener this is so much better than the “cheapo” models.

I don't give perfect scores unless something is simply perfect. This table is terrific and works very well with our powered speakers. Playing some vintage vinyl and couldn't be happier. The only thing that we're getting used to is the manual arm.

Bought this to upgrade from an LP60. Comes with a good standard needle. Overall would recommend as a mid level turntable.

If you're new to vinyl and looking for a solid turntable right out of the box without breaking the bank, this is it.

Had a little bit of trouble getting it set up correctly, but a You Tube video helped a bunch. Now that it's set up and running, I am loving it.

I had a different turntable before and it didn’t come close in comparison to this one. I would definitely spend the extra money to get this one again.

The tone arm lift sucks. Cheap turntable. The price. Of $300.00 is BS. If this wasn't for my wife... who likes it i would have returned it the first night i used it. Sounds ok but it is just.... SO CHEAPLY MADE !

I love this Turntable. Looking forward to playing my old 70's, 80's and later Albums. It's just enough technical coolness to satisfy any audiofile.

My old turntable was damaged in moving. Decided to try the AT-LP120USB. Works great but the directions are not up to snuff. I still am happy with my purchase
