Personally haven't experienced the need for a grounding plug but it is there if needed. Less expensive cables would probably suffice as would more expensive cables. For me, my requirement was met. Used Best Buy points for purchase which softened the blow.

You can use any HDMI cable to connect your TV and watch it. But, for a better quality picture, you want to use AudioQuest for the best picture quality and satisfaction.

The Black Lab works well, and is flexible yet well made. It's not a fancy cable, but does the job. Note that you may need two of them if not use the LFE input.
